This is a cool jam, has a very 70's funky rock sound to the guitars etc. Quite jazzy too, nice! Love the groove, perfect song to wind down the evening with, well done! :)
Nice smooth chords and bass over that beat, I like it. Im not really a big fan of RnB on its own but I quite like this fusion. Some vocals would really tie it all together and give it direction. Well done!
Another cool track sir. I've got to say, all the songs of yours I've heard, your voice fits the track perfectly. Has a nice, laid back feel despite the theme of the track, great work. Liking the slowed down breakbeat drums. My only gripe (and its a very small one) is that the track ends a little abruptly. Well done though, enjoyed it! :)
His Diskonnect. I'm glad you like music. I've tried more aggressive styles of vocals and they tend to sound forced and, being brutally honest, laughable. I've come to accept that the 'laid-back' approach is my style, it works better for me. That's not to say that I won't try other things in the future. But it works for me atm.
As for the abrupt ending, it's a fair comment. I cut it like that because I wanted to suggest that the "monster" was there (after spending 3mins "coming closer"). Though it may end up fading into another track when I finally get my album together; possibly a stringed reprise in a later version. We'll see.
Nice guitar work, all the little swirly synth bits too! Cool riff when that sustained piano come in, like that a lot. So many sounds effortlessly drifting in and out give it that great psychedelic funk vibe. Awesome collab, I enjoyed listening to that! :)
The guitars sound awesome man! Really nice choice of sounds to create this cool, laid back vibe. I like the fusion of genres. Very chilled, extremely diggin this just now! :)
Wish this was a bit longer but still fun to listen to, thanks!
Has a very happy/bouncy vibe which I like, would be perfect retro game music! You should check out newgrounds and maybe upload some tunes there, I'm sure people would be more than willing to use your stuff in games, animations etc! Would be a good way to get a bit more exposure too! Sounds like you ahd a lot of fun making this again! Nice one!
Hey there, thank you for your kind feedback! I have heard of Newgrounds before, but never visited the site. I have it bookmarked now, so I can look deeper into it, thanks for the tip! There have been a few games released which used some of my audio, thanks to looperman. Really games were part of how Spivkurl began. My buddy at the time was a programmer, and had a game all planned out. I spent quite a while developing my skills, leading to giving him a demo of songs for the game. Unfortunately, both the game and the future of our friendship dissolved. Still, it helped me learn a lot. You're right, this was a lot of fun to make, and I hope to develop this way of working much further. Thanks again!
This is awesome man, caught my attention right from the start till the end. I really want to remix this, is there any way I can get the stems off you? Well done!
Cool track, I like the slow intro and transition into the acoustic and strings along with the piano. It kind of just sounds like one long intro though, would be great if you could expand on that and make it a little longer :)
Don't usually listen to pop that much, but has a really nice chilled out vibe. Really enjoying brass/sax sounds just now and it's sounding awesome in this, did you record it yourself? The vocals that are in this fit well, but I think it's screaming out for some proper singing! A lot of different instruments, fits together really well! Good Job!
Really cool bassline, kinda reminds me of kavinsky with the police sirens :) Would be awesome with some soulful female vocals on it! Drums sounds pretty good too, especially the toms. I read your profile and see you are a drummer, can definitely tell, wish I could make drums as varied as this. Overall nice funky disco vibe, love it!
Awesome collab, definitely sounds like it takes inspiration from multiple decades!
With the German vocal and the pad sound it instantly reminded me of this: https://youtu.be/StZcUAPRRac - @0:55 for some reason haha ;) Uses similar sounds I guess...
Overall its a cool track with quite an ominous vibe to it, well done!
Thanks for your kind words.
This one is far away from Rammstein but i know what you mean :)
To be honest, this isn't a colab. I just grab some loops/samples and worked hard on them, then i take/made my own stuff, recorded the vocals and mixed all into this Frederick track.
I like that bass, nice and deeo! That lead synth sounds a bit washed out and quiet, but I like the one that comes in at 1:25, brings a bit more energy to the mix when you open the filter up. The high hat at 2:13 is a pretty cool little pattern to have but could maybe do with a small amount of delay/reverb etc. Overall its got a good vibe, just keep working on it if you feel its not finished, you'll get there! :)
Hey man! Thanks for your feedback and recommendations. For days, I keep adding and subtracting stuff on here. Everything should be a helluva lot more balanced. The washed out synths should be louder and full of presence without drowning anything out. I appreciate your words, man!
I like how you've arranged the loops, definitely a pleasing sound. I've tried a few times to make songs entirely out of loops but can never get the cohesiveness I desire, so well done for that. Would be cool to hear what you could come up with by adding some of your own elements. Only thing I would say is the bit at 3:06 is a bit abrupt and I'm not sure I like how you dropped the volume all the way at 3:22, before bringing it back in again. Could've been done a bit smoother. Overall nice track! :)
Thank you! I must admit, the second half of the track is not really good. I must ensure you about "my own elements" : you really-really don't want to hear it. I made only one track with lead of my own creations, and the result was so horrible, even had some nightmare with it. Not because so scary but simply so awful. Despite some efforts in the past almost 3 years, i came to realize the sad fact : i don't have the least talent or/and patience to create melodies. My lame little midi keyboard is crying when i try to make anything with him, and i'm going to savage after about a hour when can't makeup even three simple note. :( :D
This REALLY reminds me of something, but I cant quite put my finger on it! Cool track, music seems a little quiet against the vocals but its nice and chilled out. ((Sorry, I'm not as good as you at writing reviews :) haha)) Thanks!
It was nothing majorly off time, just a little bit at 0:30-0:33 bugs me a little, and when it starts at 1:04 for a few seconds. Not trying to get down on your playing, probably my OCD more than anything :)
Cool guitar playing man! It seems to me like everything could be a little tighter, there sounds like a couple of bits that aren't totally in time. Good stuff though, a nice chilled out track to get the day started! :)
Thanks one billion for taking the time.
"couple of bits that aren't totally in time", that's very interesting because I always pay a lot of attention to that but I trust you.
Could you tell me when?
Really cool track, I thought you were gonna do a sort of jean michel jarre kinda thing going by the intro, but I like how it went to a down tempo trip hop-ish vibe. Full of nice and pleasing sounds, great collab well done!
This is really nice and chilled, I like the way you used the same loop I did in my track minaret, it works really well with this laid back approach compared to the more urgent feel of mine. Then pretty cool how it morphs into a dnb section, wasnt expecting that. Very enjoyable listen, I am quite relaxed now! :)
Thanks..
Glad you enjoyed it, had a lot of fun doing it...

itself could move freely...Could've done a lot of stuff to this...
This is quite wacky, i was smiling most of the way through! Sounds like it could be a good track for some old amiga game from back in the day. Enjoyable and fun listen, really like all the sounds :)
Hey friend, thank you for taking a listen and leaving your kind words! Happy this could entice you to smile! As far as the amiga thing goes, the main start of my digital song creation was on MED soundstudio tracker about 15 years ago. MED was ported from amiga, where it was known as OctaMED. So I guess that it makes sense that I carry that era into my newer recordings. I appreciate the comment!
This track builds quite nicely, definitely has a raw sound. The percussion is almost a little hypnotic. The part at 3:02 is so cool, almost has a funky and uplifting element to it, really groovy stuff. Good synth's and beats, love it dude! If you ever wanna collab then message me, would love to do a track with you!
thanks a lot for your comment. but wait... the sounds of the real world become samples the very moment they are registered. so basically they are samples too...
Cool track, not your usual kinda breakbeat track but still quite groovy. Maybe needs something or some sound to fill it out a little bit, Im not sure what though. Good job!
Yeah U absolutely right! Had the same feeling there but got tired of not bringing anything new so I just published it.
Any composer is welcome to work with the track though!
Nice track, has that classic rock sound, I like it! Guitar playing is very good, maybe the mix could be improved slightly but very good overall, thanks!
