Crucethus my man, an OG looper. Not sure if you remember me but I certainly remember you.
I mean you listed the genre in your track description, but still pleasantly surprised after pressing play. Nice chugging guitar riffs but still has a very electronic, almost industrial overall feel. Listening on my monitors and the track has weight, but not too much its just right. Definitely sounds a bit more housey towards the end with that synth, nice interplay on that with the drums at certain points. Did you find the vocals on this site or somewhere else? They end the track nicely anyway.
Returning the favour since you commented on my track, had a look through yours and noticed this funk one among a sea of pop, so I had to check it out as I do love me some funk. This does not disappoint, that bassline from REMCO is unreal, right up my street. Its complimented very nicely by the horns, like the rolling kick underneath too.
The track continues the same motif throughout, but lots of nice little bits of variation and embellishments to keep it interesting. Head is bopping as I'm listening to this. Nice introduction of the lead guitar, really nice playing and tone.
Awesome job dude, I'm not just saying that. Really enjoyed it, I'm thinking I need to get a bass guitar now lol!
Well this is a laid back cheery sounding track, can imagine it being played out round the fire on a camping trip with everyone having a few beers. Drum rhythm is solid and props everything up well! Nice melodies interspersed throughout.
Cool vocals, humps is another name I haven’t heard for a long time. I’m sure we’ve commented on each other’s tracks numerous times over the years! It’s good to reconnect on this site again, I think it was 2008 I first joined!!
Enjoyed listening to this man, look forward to you uploading more :)
cheers man yeah when i did this one i knew who's vocals would fit straight away and was lucky enough he said yes.
2008 you oldie lol ive been around now for 2 yrs almost 3 but deleted my pro and then came back on cos i missed the crack with some folk
haha i just done a summer clean out of maybe it was an artistic sulk and deleted most my tracks for sure there will be more though ;) cheers for the listen and coment much appreciated.
This is nuts mate, i had a spiel i was going to write after waiting so long to write a review since the last track i listened of yours, which mustve been like 5+ years ago now. That was just out the window when i pressed play lol. If i could say one thing, i would work on the mastering, it sounds good in context, but as you can see from the waveform, its pretty blocky :P. Those acid synths though... perfect! This is exactly the spiv madness i remember!!! Im curious, is this mostly software based or do you include hardware at all?
Thank you for the comment! I realize the mastering is the weak point, I was using a new software which I was unfamiliar with. This track is software based, as my hardware lab sits in pieces in the basement. Glad you liked the acid madness! Thanks again!
Yep, nice synths as most people are saying! Mix sounds fine to me, good variation in the structure, maybe a little embellishment here and there to keep us on our toes. Enjoyed the listen!
Thanks Diskonnect! I appreciate the listen and feed back, I think you're right as are some of the others, it needs something else somewhere to give it a little pop and flair. I'm hoping when I learn a little bit more about productions and have some more tools in my belt I can revisit this and give it what it needs. Thanks again! Cheers!

Hey, its my first time uploading in quite a long time today too! :)
The arpeggios are very relaxing, I Like the sound of them. Tracks builds and ebbs in intensity at a nice rate, would be cool if it eventually broke out with some vocals. It kind of feels like it just stops abruptly at the end but its fine, I enjoyed listening!
Really cool track, vocals are awesome. Piano sound is simple but works well and that bass is silky smooth, the sax just ties it all together. I think UK music is the best and most diverse there is (I might be biased seeing as I'm from the UK lol) but very nice tribute, the track stands on its own, thanks!
Hi mate thanks for stopping by, will be sure to do the same. Defo agree with you on the UK music being the best and most diverse. Probably one of the few things we do really well! Thanks again!
This is sounding like some real old school dubstep from the start. Great vibe with the bass and lead, mix sounds good too although I'm just listening on headphones at the moment. Sounds a bit too muffled at roughly 1:31 when you bring the filter down but thats just my opinion. I enjoyed listening bro, perfect music for this dark and snowy day :)
Thanks for listening Diskonnect! I am using the latest Logic Pro X 10.4 Studio Horns> baritone sax, Trombone 1, and Trumpet 2. Logic stepped it up on these release and makes it much easier to be more created with its expressions. Yeah, I was feeling myself on the piano solo in the end ... ha ha.
Thanks again for the comments.
The intro makes me think some dark techno shit is away to go down, and basically it does :) Nice synth sounds and general vibe, the track builds really nicely. Mix sounds really nice and warm too so good job on that. The ending works but its a little abrupt. Nice one man!
Nice upbeat feel when the strings kick in at the start. Really cool bounce to the song. Some rapping over this would be sick... the piano part near the end mixes it up nicely, well done!
Right from the get go I like the textures in the sounds, intro is building nicely. Its quite a mad journey but I like it, something different for a change!
Once faultline kicks in its a lot more upbeat, some cool sounds working together here. The percussive white noise elements work really well to give the track some nice rhythm. I think this is my fav of the two, it has a bit more structure to it! The bass sound at 8:30 is a tad too loud for my liking but I appreciate it was done on the fly.
Thanks for listening to these and leaving your words! I agree about faultline being the more structured of the two. It was done directly after agonist moon, and I was definitely on a pretty decent high from the earlier experience. I chose a slightly less challenging medium to work with, and thus it flowed in comparison. The bass sound which is loud near the end was sort of one of those "accidentally on purpose" moments, and it is really one of my favorite parts of the whole EP. I love the contrast of it. I'm hoping to actually record something today... been locked in the lab soldering quite a few hours a day for weeks. If I don't take a day off my brain is going to die from the fumes (again). Very pleased with the overall reaction to these songs, and I did not expect it. I really appreciate it man!
Not usually my kinda thing, but everything is sounding pretty tight in this! Flow of the rapping is cool, and I like the high synth sound in the chorus too!
Has a cinematic trip hop vibe which sounds cool, definitely fits in with the halloween theme right now. Some creepy spoken words or singing could be epic! Nice listen though, thanks!
This is pretty intense, some theremin sounds would be cool floating around in the background somewhere at the start. Kicks into a nice house beat and we're away, pretty cool high synths too.
Slightly more variation throughout would've been cool, but I like that rhythmic bass synth that comes in near the end, good job! :)
Thank you for the review and feedback, I have to agree with you with your points about the track, but mostly I was pleased to actually get a track completed in time for Halloween...Peace n Respect...mosaic...
Still has that jazzy house feel at the start but like you say gets a bit more EDM'y after the drop. Even gets a little dubsteppy at 1:55 with that other drum beat.
The synth at 2:24 is pretty cool, but sounds quite quiet in the mix, could be more defined.
Nice trippy, squelchy, synthy intro, I think I would be much more inclined to listen to this rather than 'Easy for Me' whilst tripping, so the psychedelic genre is very fitting ;)
Solid bouncy groove in this, with your trademark vocals. I always comment on your mixes even though there's no need as they are always spot on!
I can't really remember listening to any of your tracks with you playing guitar... but its a nice background addition, adds atmosphere and would like to hear more!
Hello again my friend! I agree that this is far more in the psychedelic genre than my other recent track. I was thinking of Jefferson Airplane, The Doors, and The Cure mainly, but it seems that New Order was an incidental inclusion. I have been working on my focus when recording vocals lately, so that I can induce far less edits, no matter what the reason. It seems to be working, as my latest tracks have little edit work on the vocal parts. Regarding the guitar - people often do not notice my guitar parts, and mistake them for more synth or virtual work. Guitar is one of my earliest instruments... with the first picture of me with a guitar being around 3 years old. I love the instrument. I love any instrument really. Even though I am retired with disability, my work in the community is taking me away from my music, but success in this will ensure the future of everyone, including myself. Thank you for the listen and comment!
This is madness, like silverman said... this is a mental breakdown, I love it!!! haha
Hardcore - psychedelic - electro - ska is a pretty good way to describe it, although I think I would probably have a bad trip if I took some psychedelics and listened to this, no offence ;p
That accordian type sound at 3:04 is pretty cool, works really well with the track!
Very high energy, nice mix too! I do love some spivkurl madness after a few whisky's :)
Hey friend... I suppose it is madness, like you say. See, I'm a big proponent of the psychedelic experience, but my compatriots suggest the outdoor experience, and of late, I think that mine would be a bad trip that way. Don't want to come down in prison after clubbing parks and forestry peeps. The accordion sounding thing you speak of is provided by the microkorg, which was manipulated live on recording to take the part of different sorts of instruments throughout the song. I actually love to listen to my music with a buzz, and it could only serve to insert my messages more smoothly. This is however the first vocal track I've done without a direct alcohol influence for quite some time. My songs, and everything else in life recently, has been myself summoning all of the powers I can to positively influence my community and the world. Everything must change, and then we can live free. Thank you for your supportive influence!
Those jazzy intro chords and lead really remind me of Haywyre, which is awesome because I am really into his music just now, check him out if you've never heard!!
Gets a bit more house after the intro, has some very nice chilled out vibes. Liking the deep funky bass line, and the breakdown at 3:28 is nice. Would've been cool if that 3rd and last synth lead section was mixed up a little, with some more variation or different phrases but overall very nice job man, I'm going to have a go at remixing this!!
Hell yeah man! I enjoy Haywyre's style of music, especially his seemingly virtuosic keyboard skills. I am really honored to have any part of this track compared to anything dealing with him.
The breakdown at 3:28 was an attempt to change up the constant genre that was happening. I figured I'd go the risky route and add an arpeggiated saw in that area, but I think it came out alright.
The last lead section could definitely be improved. I think, however because of this competition I'm doing, I may wait until afterwards before I change anything. Thanks for pointing that out though.
I appreciate your participation and wish you the best of luck!
Yeah the whistle goes well with the drums here, gets pretty intense at 1:33 I Like it! Very unique remix and you've definitely put your own twist on it which is cool! Well done!
Love the sax by slapjohnson in this along with your own bass playing. The track doesnt really feel like its 'going anywhere' but it is a very cool jam nonetheless. Strong mix game, bass is cutting through very nicely here. Nice mix of instruments, has quite a jazzy vibe too. Good job mate!

Lovely piano solo to see the track out, great job!
