I love it so far but I think you can go way further but this is a great start, keep me posted, I think percussion wise you can change it up and add stuff like the guitar at the end, keep it up.
really nice production, I don't know if you used a sub when you mixed this I know mine is working hard on the low bass, great composition really nice texture, very nice vocal performance, arrengments and structure are very well crafted, great track very emotional.
had to check your production saw you checked out a few of my tracks, very well produce I like the way the drums sound, I'm listening with a sub and I can feel it work, great arrangments, very crossover has a pop feel with the great melody created with the synths they have to be loud they drive this track, that techno anthem feel this has it, great job.
love the production and the real spacious mix, I feel in a big space, very nice texture of sounds, nice build up, and very enjoyable track structure, lots of stuff happening with the breaks, great job.
Great job Oleg, great arrangments good sounding mix, I find the voice could be a bit more present in the mix its a bit behind, but the rest sounds great, great groove, sorry it took so long to review I'm really busy these days with my 2 radio shows on mixposure.com mixradio and doing my tracks, I'm way behind in posting them to Looperman wanted my play count to go over 5,000 and its hard when you always delete old tracks to put new ones in you lose all your spins for that track but I did it so new track are on their way, you can check them out at http://www2.mixposure.com/bands/3447/index.php
you should creat yourself a profile there so I can play your tracks on my live radio show there. You can listen to me LIVE saturday from 11pm to 1am sunday morning your time (5 to 7 pm my time) on mixposure.com. Again great sounding production just the voice is a bit low I think, maybe 3 to 5 db more, peace and love to all your family. Again bravo for your great work on this really sounds full on my sound system.
Hey Dizzy, how are you my friend, came back to listen to God is Mad the original version (it is so great) I just remixed my version of the track did some adjustments to levels and I saw you just posted a new track this weekend had to listen, you not only a great performer but also a great producer, Did Eshar hear this, I'm sure she's going to love it, you did a great job creating a landscape for her words, the production is stellar, you know what I was wishing while listening that you would have come in and talk to her with some of your trademark flow, like talking with her but in german of course, I'm sure you could have worked some lyrics to add or answer what she says like making it a dialogue, just a thought, you are both very insightful people with something to say, great job and hope all is good in your life.
big pete, glad to here from you!! everythings alright....thx for your review. You're always listening careful to what i'm doing. thanx! i wrote a message to eshar but didn't get feedback, yet. you're suggestion making a dialog out of this is great...but i'm a little frustrated in the moment. i do have the feeling i have to do something new. so, i`m working on a surprising project i will come up with in the next days!! hope you will be there to check it out....greetings dizzy
as usual great production crystal clear, amazing arrangments, really love the haunting keyboard melody in the background, amazing percussions arrangments, another freat track from 4Real indeed. instant fav and as for it being breakbeat it is far beyond breakbeat and beyong a genre of its own.
this is great your voice effect is so fu*&?ng awsome, robot with emotion, love the whole fun atmosphere to the track, almost futuristic retro, truly original as usual the production sounds fine to me, real treat this track a fun ride very happy face :)
By voice effect you must mean that modulated hoover synth, I assume so cuz it's a little robotic and there's no real voice in this track. I'm glad someone thinks this track is fun not freaky! I'm happy you say the production sounds fine, since this was done a little differently than usual. Glad I could put a smile on your face!
love the comments, love the great arangments, from my favorite bassman on earth, another masterpiece of artistry. Peace. I think there is good intelligent hip hop, The Roots is an example, but there is a lot of crap also, lol, bling bling sh???t.
you had me interested right away when you said you have to try other things, I think stepping out of a comfort zone is always good for an artist, very lush production, the percussions are stellar, great groove just drives the track, great keyboards sound very ambient melody, loved the whole package, my only comment if feel like you rushed the end, you could have taken us out more gently breaking everything down but to just the beat, but I'm kind of obsessed with endings (I hate fade outs, lol), but thats just me. Still a great production.
Man so touching and beautiful, and there is a lot of jammin happening behing but never too much, very respectful mix of music and word, you had me when you did your first hatmonics and then the angel voice of your daughter, great human piece of art, for the memorie of mankind. Peace Love and Freedom sir.
Thank you Pete..my niece Vanessa will be so happy that you like it...she's very outgoing and positive..I literally had to drag the microphone off her! lol...thank you again for the kind words..much appreciated ..cheers planet :)
I will echo previous reviews, I always said that Metal when arrange like this is like classical music to me, the Wagner type, very goth dramatic, love the arrangment and structure of the track, very soundtrack like, great ride. Great production.
Sorry for the delayed response. Thanks for the review. I grew up on classical music and "rebelled" against my parents by getting into metal. I too think that perhaps if he had been born later, Wagner might have been a guitarist in a metal band somewhere. I agree that the two genres seem to compliment each other. I enoy the genre bending that you and others do- it is intellectually and emotionally intriguing. Thanks again for the review. Kper
everybody just about said it, this is a all around great production from the intro to the end, great arrangments, production and you do take us on a journey and keep us glued untill the end, really love the way you build the track, a lot of work went into this I'm sure and it show, my first fav out of Africa.
this is great to be able to hear music out of Africa, love the electro funk elements, this is a fun dance floor track, real club bouncer, love all the old shool feel of the beat real house.
great track again love your voice even if (oops its our secret, lol) love the structure this just flows, but I'm an honest guy and in my opinion there is a line in your first verse that does not flow like the rest of your text and its this one (the last on of the first verse) Theres an ocean between The lives were living But we think the same things, rythm wise this one just does not sound right like the rest of the track, maybe if your deliver it in a different way it won't clash, but even the words sound not right, to my hear, and this is one mans opinion, and I really think its the end of the phrase that is not right (But we think the same things) again maybe its in the way your deliver that part I think maybe there are to many syllable in that part I've just listen to it again and that part But we think the same things does not flow like the rest of the track for sure, but for the rest it a great love song you romantic fool, told you that voice will get you girls, lol.
Honesty is the best policy my friend and i apriciate this sooo muchhh!! im gonna have a mess about with the lyrics..i dont wanna change them to much coz its like personal to me and her but il have a lil mess and try and deliver it differently!!
My voice sooo dont get me girls haha..shes the only one iv ever really sung for..i havn ever written any songs with vocals appart from her..sooo..other girls dont really know about the singing haha
Thnk you for leaving some great feedbakc man!! i really apriciate it!! Cheers pete!
great urban jazz groove, you are what I'm not a great musician, composer arranger, you always know I to keep us interested all through the track, amazing the sound you can get out of a guitare, I remember Goldley and Creame from 10CC when in the late 70s the started experimenting with having a guitar play piano and other instrument sounds, great job again.
always a great experience to listen to a master, that you are for sure, this great arrangments structure you really take us on a journey going round and round, bravo, this is a fav for sure, kind of felt like a kid at some point in the track, beautiful.
Hi Big Pete, Thanks for your review and your kind words of encoragement on this. You seem to have picked up on the cyclical feel I was trying to convey when I wrote this - to that extent it seems I was successful then - cheers jfw.
what a refreshing track, we've been having a heatwave here and this is so chill, great performances, so tight, great arrangments, this is as good as anything judge professional out there, I can only imagine how this would sound recorded digitally today, beautiful track, everything is right there, great flashback.
you are sick, and I love your illness, great composition, great mood like E I might have push the arrangments a bit further, but thats us producers we always do, your track works well as it is and I am scared of you now, lol, reminded me of Bahaus and Peter Murphy great job.
wow a second canadian I find out about on the site today thats great, lets show the world, lol, man this is a great, your tack is kicking, Tony Franklin bass librarie is great but there is also always a danger that is not really one, check out the track I posted on the 5th of august, lol, I'd love to hear your rap track on my track, love the french in the track, merci its fun, very groove track, love the dynamics.
so here is the link to my track please check it out you'll have a laugh, Peace from Quebec. Hope to hear more from you. https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/38133
great creative use of the great work of Elaine she does have an aura to the way she delivers even after all the great processing you did on her voice the emotion still comes through, great musical production sounds solid, great structure, very interesting work of art to listen to, I'm finding more and more great Canadian artist on this site, Elaine must think us Canadians have a thing for her, lol, check out what I did with one of her vocal loops, she is not in there a lot but she gives the track the emotion it needed, I did a video for the track.
My musical treatment is completly different from your my approach was rock, she is there at the start but I played with her more a t the end of the track last third, cheers from Quebec mon ami. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5VxLxApLTz8
Your soundscape are always so interesting to discover, again great use of arrangments, like 2 bass line talking to each other, then the haunting vocoder brings in the melodic hook, this is great electro to a drum and bass beat, again a fun journey at sea from Captain Spivkurl.
Thanks for referring to this track as a soundscape...for some reason it's just comforting! I definitely tried to make the two bass lines interact in the realm of frequency. Glad that the vocoder added some interest. Thanks for stopping by and commenting!
