It's guitar nerd heaven. You have a distinct style but you some how keep it fresh. I'll have to pay closer attention to how that your managing that. Always enjoy your songs. Very tasty, that old rock vibe with some electronic stank added in. It's a fun mix.
Wow, this is well done. I would like to add some kind of input but I think you've got this one locked down. Great textures in this tracks. Some fuzz, crisp cleans, jagged parts smooth parts. Just the right amount of verb and space on the right instruments. (i love it when people use reverbs or echo/delay really well, pulls me into the space between notes). This really is not my kind of music, but I had to listen to this twice just to appreciate what you've done! I'll show this one to my wife, she'll be dancing in the living room
Let that duck out, love the quacky bass line. Nice production, every thing sounds nice and clean/articulate.
great trade vocal/melody trade off near the end.
Nice Bone Crunching drive on the guitars, I enjoyed the strings and all the levels/tones mesh together really well. Great song. Nice breaks in there, accentuates the drive I find.
Thanks for your comments on this rock tune. I love trying different types of music, But mostly my songs cover rock and country...and some blues now and then. I am working on a slide blues guitar one now, and will post it when I get it done.
I have a couple rock songs done as well, and am waiting for lyrics/vocals to be added by the people I sent them to.
Awesome, very nice groove. The bass is dang tasty, not to mention the rest of the guitar work. Ever think of throwing a key change in? Perhaps where the ending is? Just throwing it out there.
Only four?! Needs some nasty a$$ wah pedal (not true actually). But I know I feel like getting down when I think of my wah pedal. Really wish this had some lyrics and a nice female voice. Maybe you should see if Beth Hirsch is available!
Love the idea, yes guitar solo's for every one! If you get tired of doing them I'd lend an Axe any time. Love guitars over most hip hop/rap/dance what ever. Just love that mixture.
I like listening to rough drafts, I'm sure we all hear something different. I think I know where you want this one to go and that lead guitar line is so cool. Big heavy drums and some bass... yes.
I think i'm inspired to add a couple other rough drafts of mine, see what kind of ideas people have.
nice job, do want to hear one your songs totally polished, it would be a force to be reckoned with man.
I think this could be polished into something great. You have a good voice. The end is hilarious, good track. Hope you do it up top to bottom. It would be killer then.
Hot Damn, haven't two stepped since i was a teenager, but now I've got a hankerin. Great work all around. Let those Teli's rip, Teli's are like motorcycles. If you don't like em, then you just don't get it!
Thanks for the glowing review. I appreciate your listening and reviewing my latest tune. I love country music as that is where I started out.
In another week, I will be uploading another one. It will actually be two songs in one. Lots of slide guitar, and other instruments.
Hope you will get a chance to listen to it as well.
I was over at your site on here and gave you a review of your latest. Very nice indeed.
This is refreshing, not the sort of thing I usually listen too. I was pleasantly surprised when the guitars came in. I was like, "yeah" that changed the dynamic of the song dramatically from the first part of the track. I do think that it would sound really cool if you went back to the music from the beginning with no guitar (did i just say that?)right after the last lyrics ended.
Great tones, love the crunch on the guitar. Really like some of those lyrics. I really liked the opening, you know really early on where the tune is going. I do think the bass could use a little more definition. It could be my head phones but it sounds a little washy? Great track.
"lets rock this joint till the dream comes true" - nice
Thanks for the kind words. The washiness can be the result of several things – the track is mixed with new headphones but I guess that the true reason is that I play the fretless bass with my fingers and frankly I'm a better on my guitar than on the bass. :D
Cheers

one love,
diggin the 16ths on the synths! soft and smooth all the way.
just that darn water! ha ha, agree on the smother fade but you know that already.
Great track, I think it would be great with vocals you should do it. Placing vocals in would probably solidify the arrangement in a nice way i bet. Maybe some East Indian singing.
THANK JEFF FOR YOUR TIME ACCORDING WITH THE OTHER OPINIONS I FEEL THIS TRACK NEEDS SOMETHING MORE BUT I DON T KNOW WHAT I WAS THINKING TO PUT SOME VOCALS BUT FIRST I THINK I HAVE TO MAKE SOME REWORK BEFORE ADD VOCALS ANYWAY I AM GLAD YOU TAKE YOUR TIME TO REVIEW THIS ONE
I laughed as i was reading 'thehumps' comment b/c that's what i was doing. makes me think of picnics and riding my bike. Great tune. Your voice has a chilled out sound that I like.
This is mixed really nicely, nice and full sounding yet still clear. I like the reverb you used on the opening lines. Gotta agree on the bass, different line is needed.
should have wrote this sooner, I think it would have been great on the Kill Bill sound track. It's got a great feel and i agree with others, the vocal effects really fit. Great job, love the vibrato.
I think that character of your guitar tones really complimented the character of the vocalist. Been away from looperman for a bit but i'm glad i've made the effort to come back and cruse around.
Hello jc and thanks for the comment.I hope to complement the collabs I'm involved with...I try to put the song itself first...even if it's just a few notes or chords I end up playing.
Thanks again for the review!
yea, real funky, I like the way things are panned in this track. This track is tight but I get a spacious kind of feel from it. Like I would stroll into a bar in this could be groovin.
sounds good, the music is really solid, I especially enjoyed the drums. Your voice sounds nice. I agree with the vocal eq comment. It's obvious you guys put some work into this. Great Job
