I like your songs since I could hear them anywhere, and know that it is yours... possibly it is that I don't listen to much of the music which you are influenced by, but I still like that aspect of your music. As a fellow head injury victim, I can hear the serious note below the comedy here, at least I think I hear it. This also reminds me of the show "Roseanne," since she hits Dan with a frying pan pretty often throughout the series. It's funny, but also sad. Very cool and fun song though, and your performances are great! Thanks for sharing!

Reminds me of some of the things I did in my brief stint in college while learning digital recording and synthesis. It has a good sound, and a cool mental effect to it. Not bad at all for the age of fifteen. Looking forward to hearing some of your other work! Cool!

Hey, this is very killer stuff! If it were slightly less dubsteppish in it's sound design, I would be thinking "Bool," which I did anyway. Bool is definitely one of my faves in the modern electronic stuff. I would say that robotizing would ruin where this song has it's strengths. Possibly vocal wise, a more centered vocal would be the key. I have personally been breaking this rule as well though, so don't listen too deeply, just follow your heart. I love the rhythms and the arrangement. Big, quality sound you have achieved! Very cool stuff! Fave!

i was really looking forward to your feedback. and i am glad you have really enjoyed the track.
What i feel is to go with whatever you feel as a producer is good according to you. People may have different opinions as far as one's music is concerned but yeah at the end of the day, just do wht you feel is right according to you.

Very intersting style of DnB here, with a lot of industrial vibe contained within. I would agree with Tumbleweed about the low end presence, but it is not a big deal at all... since what is represented is very cool! His EQ recommendations would probably help on their own, since less mid-high area will push the limiter and the balance of lows will be better. Either way, it's a cool beginning, and it would be nice to hear this one "fleshed out." Fun to hear!

This is pretty sonically engaging! I like it! When you ask about it being "gig ready," I assume this is some sort of live in studio performance. Is that the case? If so, I am impressed! It was fun hearing the fairly raw synth sounds and stuff. Definitely feels industrial to me! Great work!

Very interesting style on this track! Fun use of distortion in areas of the sound design! I'm getting flashback of Cevin Key albums when hearing this, which is cool! Were using some sort of loop pedal in this? It reminds me of some of the rhythms I've been achieving while experimenting with mine. Minimal but deep. Great to hear!

This is wicked! I really dig Industrial from Eastern and Central Europe... it seems like that is essential industrial vibe. Deep and dark, with very cool and interesting percussion style. I like the clarity and dryness of this, it gives a very vintage feel. Quite enjoyable!

on KSHMR ID Contest - My Version by juniq

It's alright for EDM, although I generally dislike the whole idea of EDM. I would not call it house in any way though. The arrangement seems okay. The whole thing has very little dynamics though, as if it is over compressed, over limited, or both. You have plenty of headroom, so ease off on the thresholds! Every instrument seems like it's at the same volume with this much "smashing." It could be better, but of course it could be far worse!

well EDM is not a genre more a description for some genres and styles of big party music. like "bigroom" i hate the idea of inventing new words makin it a "genre". but anyways I've spent 2 hours on that only more like a boredom project and mind the bad apple standard headphones i used to master it cz my speakers were in repair i know it's very bad mastered and u can't call it compression ^^ but i think it's quite good for the equipment circumstances I had at this time. you seem to have a lot of experience so I'm glad you took a listen on my track tho :) stay tuned man

Hey, this is very killer stuff! Believably eighties influenced to my ears! I hear a bit of Jan Hammer, and a bit of Depeche Mode going on, but with your own flair. Definitely not what I expected to hear when I visited your page, but it is a pleasant surprise. Noticed your recent hardware acquisitions on your profile... are they featured here at all? I like the volume on this, as it seems read for a vocalist to do their thing before a final mix. I have another collab that I've been putting off, otherwise I would try my hand at vocals... though if you're willing to be patient, maybe it will happen. Thanks for sharing this cool song with us! Fave!

Thanks man! And that would be cool. I'm in no hurry. :) As for my new hardware. This song is all Fl Studio. To make a long story short, I had an band that was active from 2012-2015. Things fell apart between us and due to the fact that I'm not a social person we parted ways. We played a few shows and had some fans but in the end I felt misunderstood by the local scene so I decided to sell all of my gear. At the time I had an Alesis Micron, Novation Ultranova, and an Alesis Multimix 8 mixer. Only recently have I started to rebuild. I don't have a mixer at the moment so I can't record my new gear but that will change soon. But yes I have another...(my third one) Alesis Micron, an Alesis Dm-Lite electronic kit and I just got my Blofeld (Keyboard Version) this week! Next on the list is a mixer so you will hear all of my new gear in the near future. :)If you want to hear my Dm-Lite kit in action check out the song "Lust For Blood" on my page. Have not listened to much chromatic music lately, but I'm glad I'm hearing yours today. I think you've done really well on this! I apologize for not responding in regard to this halloween project... it has been a difficult time around here, and to be honest, aside from the pumpkin on the front steps, halloween has been far from my mind. oh man, you've been busy! I can hardly believe it! You've been here and there, but now all of the sudden, the last couple of months show you releasing a bunch of music. I wish I could be like that... it's all there or nothing with me... I feel the emotion here, and the energy. Maybe I would be a pop star if I could replace my though process with chord progression based composition and stuff, but I am still stuck in jazz land since 1996. It feels good to be busy,especially when surrounded by things that you love,have a personal dislike or simply cant ignore.
What i personally like about you and your music is the level of passion and intelligency you apply to your music,as you always sound original in an era that is so,so hard to be one.
You might not be a pop star but the body of music you have made after all these years show to us that your love for Music is real,genuine and forever envolving.
Always read good things about Jazz,its one of the genres of music i need to investigate further.Any particular recommendations in Jazz i should def listening to,my friend?
Ironically i got the bug of wanting to make music in 1996!

Sounds pretty cool to me! I still can't get my head around this "trap" thing... like because so many different things are called trap now. The only straight answer I have gotten is that it is music influenced by addictive drugs and the places where they are use/sold... hence "trap" being taken both literally and figuratively. How something like that defines a genre is beyond me though. Musically, I do like what you've done here. It has a very modern mix sound, but is not overly loud, which is good. Nice work!

Very fun style to this song! I am especially fond of the composition of the various instruments... Because of this, I would love to hear it played by individuals on their respective real instruments. That would definitely take this to the level of classic jazz, what with the option for improvisation and the like. I know it's out of reach for almost everyone though, so I take it for what it is... and what it is, is a very complete piece which sounds great! As someone else mentioned, the mix is really good as well. Fun to hear! Fave!

Interesting style of dubstep here. Seems like it wouldn't be fast enough for my definition of drumstep, but I'm not an expert, just a fan. In listening to this, I am feeling that one big improvement could be to add more variation to the high hats... like some velocity variations, or possibly tracking filter cutoff with volume or something. The hats are very constant in their sound. The wobble stuff is pretty neat though. Very unusual!

Definitely an unusual style of ##### here! Has the vibe of being made on a tracker to my ears, which is cool as I used to use trackers for most of my music. Was this recorded through a mixer or onto tape? I ask because there is a hiss throughout the song... possibly it is just present in some of the samples. It's not distracting, I just noticed it when I turned up the volume... Which by the way is a good thing, that your song enticed me to turn up the volume. All in all a very original and fun track!

I personally really dig the intro! It's like the diverse, high speed, glitchy type drum slowly collect together towards the beat. This is a really unusual style of hip hop which I can identify with. Unusual is meant completely as a compliment of course, as I would use "the usual" as more of a derogatory statement. The different stylistic elements are great to hear... DnB, budstep, glitch, jazz, breakbeat - I hear all those and possibly more in here. It's really cool. I could see this being really difficult to mix, but overall you've done well. I think that what Tripcore was hearing as "clipping" is actually some loops or samples which are clicking each time they repeat, as I hear that in the later part of the song. That would be the only thing I would recommend to work on, you know find out which ones are clicking by soloing them, and then adjust the loop. All in all an awesome song!

Hey this is a very original piece! I'm digging all the various performances which are included! The processing on the rhythm guitar during the guitar solo is cool and very effective. Vocal snippets are fun in this context! Definitely not much like this on Looperman these days, and it's great to hear something different! Dig it! Fave!

Damn this is cool! You've obviously been tapping into your talents and honing your skills! One thing I look for in a song is the urge to turn up the volume early in the song, and this one had that element for sure... so I did turn it up, and I was glad for it! Very big sound, but not overly wet - Very cool arrangement! Creative to remake the piano part and record your own vocal bits, that added a lot to my ears! I think I've heard one other remix, but not the original (I think), and this one is definitely left more of an impression. Be proud! Fave!

Very interesting soundscape you've created here! I haven't heard something placed under grime in quite a while, and it's an interesting genre choice for sure. This is creepy in a good way, like something which could have been in "Dexter" or something. Good reverb use to create depth. All in all, a very cool sonic journey! This is a pretty cool and unusual song... I can't say that I've heard the original, so I don't really know what you've done. It's got a good pop vibe to it. Someone said there is too much bass, and I find it funny. Funny because this "future bass" genre seems almost strictly devoid of real bass frequencies, including this track. Also funny because this track taken without genre reference has little movement in my sub. I'm not sure the disparity between my thoughts and the previous commenter, if it is personal preference or simply listening device. Who knows. Either way, it was a cool song!

This is a good combination of talented individuals, and a well written and performed lyrical endeavor! Obviously not the sort of thing I would commonly listen to, but I can totally hear the effort and care which went into creating it. I am thinking that maybe this was performed over the downloaded track, and mixed with the vocals... It will probably sound a lot better if it is mixed with the actual project or stems at some point. Sounds like that is what Brado will be doing. I think you've done great here!
