What's this about the VST midi bass???!?
Been really thinking about going the direction of guitar in midi out... there's some cheap interfaces with horrible ratings and of course.. Expensive ones with amazing reviews.
Thanks mate..de train takes all passengers and makes unscheduled stops all de time! lol...yeah midi guitar/bass is pretty cool..I got the Sonuus G2M for guitar and the B2M for bass as well..these are a bit iffy,only play monophonically and a little bit of post production midi mapping clean up is required occasionally,but their not bad for the price..I borrowed a Roland Gr2 bass midi pick-up and module ..these are better but still I don't like it hanging off my guitar..what I think I may get is an Industrial Radio Midi Bass..they seem to be the real deal..but I'll have to test one first..about $2500..bit pricey for something you won't use all the time..but we'll see..cheers mate Dave :)

Yeah,synthetic strings it is quite hard to work with them,but they are good for work until i find a better solution:))!

Whats funny is i made and produced this with merely Magix Music Maker. Its all just pre made loops. And i absolutley love teh glass breaking idea. Im Definately going to implement that. I actually have absolutely no idea what key this is in - lol. It all came out of the bassline, something I was playing around with in experimenting with DSK BassZ and transposing it to more in the range of an acoustic guitar. I deliberately set out to do something melodic and happy, with a slight vibe of melancholy behind it. What I'm most please with though, is that the sonic interpretation is so close to what I'd conceptualized. I think I'll be doing more of the downtempo melodic stuff!

Yeah, it's not the full arrangement yet, where it ends I'm working on a breakdown. I know what you mean about some heavy guitars. Was thinking of trying that next. My guitar is bad tho "as in my actual guitar not my playing" that it puts me off a little.
