Makes me feel like I'm travelling through a far off land. The music just seems to capture you and take you there. Would be great on a movie soundtrack. Nice song.

I agree with Elaine. You did a great job putting music to the lyrics. Usually have to have Lyrics laid to the music to get it to fit that tight. Kind of an early MnM sound to it. Real nice.

Very nice Synth work. I transformed it into a peanut butter and jelly sandwich and ate it. I don't even know what that means. Some hard effects added to a soft track. Real nice blending of elements. It kept my attention till the end. Some pieces don't.

Very cool. The keys have a 80's rock sound to them, and the lead guitar is pure jazz. Nice combination. Nice bass too. Lead guitar timing seems off at the end. The part between 102 and 109 doesn't seem to fit to me. But that is just me. You and your band are great and have a lot of talent. I really do like your stuff.

on voices by rei4real
Your have the most important thing for making music. A creative mind. And next is ability. Ability to take what you come up with and get it down so the rest of us can hear it. Very nice. Real feeling in the lead guitar. I'm lucky in the fact that I understand what the voices in my head are saying. Even though part of the time they think they're comedians. But at least I was able to perform an Exorcism on the ones that kept saying "Kill, Kill, Kill" I feel much better now that those ones are gone.

on Line In The Sand, Movement 1 by Sixfingermusic
Sounds like a plucked Chello at first very nice. I like the harp that comes in too. This should be a soundtrack to a movie. Very powerfull. I enjoyed it very much. Faved. Don't stop giving us that Sixfinger guitar. Continue to do both. You are very talented and not just your ability but also your ear for hearing in your head something them being able to put it in the real world so the rest of us can hear it too. You are very creative. And I always enjoy listening to your stuff. Now to keep reminding myself. "Thou shalt not covet thy nieghbors software"

Move over Carlos Santanna! There's a new sheriff in town!
this is wonderfull. Im enjoying the Salsa sound. And then the guitar comes in. Pure heaven. Beutifull. Great vocals also. This song is 4 min 15 sec long. Feels like its only 2 mins. So enjoyable it seems like it's over just as soon as it starts. Leaves you wanting more. And that's a good thing. A song like this could make you guys stars. I like the lyrics on this one a lot. Made a favorite.

Great song. I like the Lead guitar lick. It's catchy. Very well done. Singer has a nice voice to. Since it's going on a CD I'll review this very hard and say that the lyrics are weak. They don't really say anything, they're forgetable. This is a real nice song, very good, and I'm cretiqueing it hard at a professional level. Also, this is your song and if you don't agree with what I said forget what I said.
Because it's only my opinion.
but again, this is a very nice song and I enjoyed listening to it.

on 12 String Gone Wild by Randall822
i just love all your stuff when your playing a guitar. I've always loved the sound of a 12 string. Never gotten around to buying one but I enjoy playing them when ever I get the chance. Start kind of has a 3 Dog Night Shangrala sound to it. Real sweet. I'm very jelous of how great of a guitarist you are. Of course if I wasn't so lazy and practiced more I'd be better.

Well hello Blair.
I appreciate you listening and reviewing onother one of my songs. Guitar is what I started on, then Bass, and then Pedal Steel.

Whatever sound I was missing in my band that I really wanted to hear, I went out and bought a good instrument and learned to play it so I could use it in my own band at the time.

As you probably already know, I learned 5 string bluegrass banjo that way, and Dobro was a shoe-in as it is sort of like my Steel guitar...without the pedals and less strings. My steel is a double neck with 10 strings each.

Then I bought a Fender Rhodes electric piano and later a Wurlitzer electric piano for some songs that used those sounds. But on the keyboard, I was lame as I just chorded mostly.

Then eventually I got an ELKA synth for string effects. So I suppose it depends on how badly you want a sound.
I've have a good job so it was easier for me to get the things I wanted. However, once I got married, I had to s-l-o-w way down. :-)
Thanks again for the nice and gracious comments.

Same thing about the mix. Seems like recorded with levels to high. Recomend you re-record it at lower levels. Neils right about the CD in the car test. Thats what they did on "Out in the Storm" At the studio Where I had it recorded before they even let me hear the final mix.
Good song though even though I'm not big on metal.
