Super job, Ronabo. Love your playing and the addition of the Fender Rhodes style piano. I know It's not used much these days, but I still love the sound.
I'll admit, this is not in my wheelhouse of prefered styles, but having said that, this is excellently done! It's better than most of the stuff on the radio today. Super guitar track and some of the best vocals I've heard here in awhile. The children's choir is a nice touch. Good job!
I'm not sure if I have ever commented on one of your pieces before, but after listening to this track, I will certainly be watching for your stuff. This is really well done, from the instrumentation to the vocals. The mix is also really good and it hits my surround speakers nicely. Good job!
Hi Musicante. It's always good to have someone new at the party. Grab a beer, but avoid the Vol-au-vents (they're a tad stale).
Glad to hear that the mix worked well on your surround sound. Mine have been massively playing up, so a lot of my mixing is done using monitor headphones at the moment.

Thanks a lot for your comment! I came across Getz/Gilberto performance about 5 years ago. The the book the arrangement is from is titled 'All Time Jazz Standards' and I intend to play and post the other tunes in different jazz styles as well. I can't record the real acoustic piano so that is why I experiment with it's electric emulations. Casio has weighted keys so I coud find some connections.
Beautiful piece, SolilxLune. Short, but sweet! Don't ever feel like you are not good enough to work with 'a musician.' You ARE a musician and your voice is your instrument. They are probably happy to have you working with them. I know we'd have you in a minute!
Thank you very much for your words. But I'm concious that I need to improve. I have to learn music theory, harmony, melody and all that music stuff that are necessary for a good work. I really want to do my best, but I will not do until I learn how to sing. I don't want to be mediocre. So, I have to practice more.

LOL...This one brought a smile to my face. Very unusual a quirky, but also very catchy. To be honest, I don't know why I like it so much, but I do! My only critique (and don't really like doing it without being asked, so hope you don't mind) is the vocals on the bridge are a little out of time with the music. I think you could actually sell this one. It would make a great TV commercial track. I had to give it another spin before moving on. Good job!

Don't worry, I wouldn't allow comments if I couldn't accept some critique. My reply to your critique would have to start here - I didn't write anything for a vocal bridge. I have 3 verses, and 3 choruses, the second verse has an incidental vocal at the end, and I'm assuming that's the part you mean. It wasn't really meant to be time dependent, just there. If I am incorrect about what you meant, I would be pleased if you could tell me the lyrical part you mean, as I could look into it. The whole tune was meant to have a bit of shuffle to it though, so I'm not too worried. As far as the TV commercial goes, it would be unlikely due to my philosophies, and I would have to really get behind the message - like banning agricultural chemicals, or laws against idling your car, stuff like that. heh. Charlene's voice is perfect. And as i wrote in a previous post, she's singing right into the microphone of her mac.
But as i feel it the result is more like "in your face".
This is really nice and smooth. Vocals are cool. No real critique here, except maybe a little more volume so you can get a better saturation. When I finish a track, I always put it in WavePad Sound Editor and get a visual perspective to check my saturation. You can get a free version of this if interested.
lol ya, the poo comment is definately t.m.i. classification. It has nothing to do with the title though :) Im kinda glad that was pointed out cuz now that I look at it.....lol ooops!

Nice to know the genre is nicely portrayed here with this track. It always gives me a little chuckle when the term is used and the track doesn't come close to actually being "fusion." I'm a huge fan of Weather Report, and this track sure reminds me of them...Love it!
