Got a lot of good folks already making positive comments. I too like this track even though it isn't something I would normally listen to. Sounds like an 80's tune called "Just Be Yourself" by Cameo that I really liked. vic

Glad you enjoyed it.

As ive gathered you have completly sampled this. Took loops from what i know and rearranged them. A+++ Job well done. this sounds like the 80's funkadelic tunes NOBODY is doing anymore maybe for exception Raphael Saadiq. My only question is did you Master this song by yourself and if yes what Program/Programs did u use?

Apart from that this is very Authentic sounding.
Very good Job

Thank for the comment and Ear.

I arrange, mix and master all my tracks.
I used Ozone6 to master
I Mix in Samplitude Pro2 Daw and use mostly Slate Plugins along with others

98% of my track are create by loops only.

Again Thanks for the Ear

That is some old school funk indeed. Great use of loops. I agree with silverman as on this site I tend to post songs mostly of loops, but I do also play instruments as well and like the freedom to be able to both. But there is an art to arranging music, and looping like this leads to an arrangers ear. This is great stuff.

That's a fantastic flavor and composition of funk. Will look for more of your designs in the future

MaxBonsi 30th Apr 2016 09:51 - 10 years ago

Great!
Agree with Ronabo
did u play it all by yourself?

Max

Dirtzilla replied 30th Apr 2016 - 10 years ago

Sorry I.m not playing any of the instruments, they are all loops. I choose which one I want to use and I arrange them in the order that I want, then I mix them and master them to the best of my ability. I do believe that this is a loopers site and this is where you would display your tracks, Rigth??

I use the ultimate vocal pack for the vocals plus a party FX. JB construction kit, Samplitude Pro DAW and a host of plugins.

I glad you enjoy my track and left a comment, I'm also sorry that I didn't play on the track. I do play.
