Great track-the way you layered it all together gives it allota depth and texture.Love the way you fit AJ's vocals into a track with a darker feel.that's not easy to do.ive tried.lol.Her vocals give it a heavy somber feel.great beats-great synth-great style-Great track.
I love it overall, my only concern would be there is not enough low end sound, at least if feels too empty to me at the low end, for a Dub-Step dancefloor track, but really I love this track, a fantastic mix of ideas.
Hey thnx for the comment, always appreciated, I jsut wish I could hear some of your work to see what you're all about. You're also totally right, not sure about low or low & high ends, but it definatly is rather empty, in fact, its just a bassline I was tired of trying to implement and decided to upload in it's scarse enviroment.
Really nice melody and really mellow. Very relaxing and not disturbing to me at all. Great pace with the drums too, dunno if u adjusted the beat, but in my opinion the beat fits the track well.
Took me long enough but I'm glad i finally checked this track out. And as far as mxin it with my track i could def hear that happening. Thing is i've never combined songs in the kinda fashion so we'd have to talk about our options. But yeah the track is real vibrant and fun. Makes me wanna dance.. Get back with me dude, Peace.
B.K.
Thanks guys, I feel like i gotta up my standards a notch though, been hanging in the same tones for a while now, any tips how i can advance to more texturized sound without loosing the mid frequencies? peace brothern
I'm really digging the mix (though it seems to be a bit crisp on the high side... a simple tweek of the EQ'll take care of that). I can see why ya chose Nepaul's vox, coz they've got that nice funky quality to 'em (speaking of which, name-wise how 'bout "Funky Robots since he says that near the end of the song and the vibe that the music has on here). You did a nice job of matching that with those uber sweet basslines you've got going through this (that's why I mentioned the crisp thing above, because I'd kinda like to hear 'em more, ya know). The drums're cool too, am I correct in guessing ya threw some Hall reverb on 'em? If you've got the ability to do some 'knob-shiftin' it might sound killer if ya added some filter on 'em to drown their sound at certain points. And that gave me another idea... Could you do some vinyl stops or wind downs on this (like at the point between the intro and start of the raps, for example). Sorry for the rambling mate, this just got my mind goin. This is some pretty killer stuff ya rolled here. Saved/faved. Cheers!
PS. Don't forget to check off the *Contains Adult Contact option (for the language of the 'pella).
This reminds me of a lil Acid with some of the synth treatment ya had on here. Along with it having some old 8-bit video game qualities. Structure-wise, it kinda bounces around and that's a toss up, really. On one side it adds an interesting dynamic. Though on the other side it has a part of my mind hunting for the order outta it.
So technically, I wanna suggest trying some firmer mixing on this (like 'Pyramid-style arranging'... channels build into eachother like blocks or steps... ie- bass (x4), drums (x4, starting on the 2nd bass loop, 1 gap (both), repeat while introducing another element). Then again, I'm also thinking that this'd sound wicked if you were able to mix it in 5.1 surround (or if not, just pan & level adjust w/fades... like chan 1 left 25% vol neg 3, chan 2 left 50% vol neg 4.5 and so on). I mean, just imagine how cool it'd be if ya just had one lil synth bit coming out of the right rear speaker and maybe did some kinda clock-wise wrap around with the bass or something, ya know? Just some stuff to play with there. Otherwise, I'd say that yer heading in the right direction here. Lates!
This is nice and chill! I really like the synth work you've done on this one! Those vocals are really cool, they fit right in! I can definitely hear the psytrance elements here, great fusion! Excellent flow on this track! Well done! Faved for sure!
very unusual blend of sounds here NS, but that what I like about this....beats work well, great synth sounds and vocals all fit niceley.
Well done

The bass modding is freakin sick! I am hearing some S/C compression on the bass, one thing I noticed when I ma doing a dubstep track is the S/C needs to have a low attack on it so you dont get the crushed bass sound and your kick and bass are not at war for frequency. I think you have some really cool things happening on the track. Subtle electric guitar lead..genius. A little compression tweakage and I think you got something here, bro!-ch
Thanks man, you're right. Tbh forgot how i made this, when and how it sounds, might take another look into it. As for your tips, they also go perfectly for my newest track, it sounds way cleaner than this and such, but I can see some"war"there. So this is freaking useful-thankie!
Hey Man! Nice and interesting atmosphere you got going on here!
Very cool and succesful attempt of mixing 2 genres up and making something original and clever! Really nice with a ton of energy!
I totally see it fitting in a Matrix movie when the action is taking place ;) Great stuff! The vocal works really good with this also giving it an extra emotion.
Keep up the good work!
Ton of energy! thats damn right! thanks for positive feedback everyone :) Psy dubstep incoming next, hopefully followed by an atmospheric dnb thriller sketch with Chase on the vocals if he's up for it, peace out all, thnx again.
This rules! I love the rolling bass on this! Really nice synth work overall! Those vocals really suit the overall feel of this track! Very ecstatic stuff! Really good ending! Great work my friend!
oh man, I love this comment, that's how I try to go about living, one big club scene where you feel totally at home. (now to start making a living for myself hehe) Glad to please people, hopefully I wont be loosing me built up standard over time, thnx for a good remenisce man, ...we gonna party like its 1999... hehe
Hey Strowberry
I think here is not to many rave track on loops, and your track comes like refreshment.
To be honest, AJ pella vary of your rhytm, just because its different beat, but the whole track is not bad...
ye I heard little rave on here, but to be honest that's a bit of a gray zone for me since you can't upload long sessions here(perhaps yet!)
Vocals are off indeed, doesn't bother me yet but I see myself slowing this track down a little in the future, thanks for the tip though, its not like I didnt notice hehe, but its a different story when someone poitns it out (healthy!), I guess it can use some more attention. Thanks for a fine review man,
Lev.
Before I play, a random side-note... I find it funny that someone can Favorite a track without giving it a review (hmm?). Now onto the song.
Play 2 now...
I'm really digging this song. How it maintains a high energy level throughout and twists & turns between the different genres. IMO, there isn't nearly enough Goa-psy on this site. Which is strange considering how cool that stuff is. Falling back on the track, perhaps to make it longer you could focus on doing a few more section isolated bridges- Like, drop out everything except for the drums & bass and then briefly cut the drums or swap 'em via a cross-channel fade for some pads and background effects... Or another thing you could try is a staged introduction mixing style- Like, do a snare roll to a single bass kick (with slight reverb or an echoed delay), allow for there to be a moment of silence and bring everything back (including the new element, say, one of the synth leads). And because of the Drum&Bass aspect I almost wanna suggest throwing on some vocal stabs (though I dunno how that would meld with the Goa side of things). Eh, I dunno, play around with it just a lil to see how it'd fit. Otherwise, this sounds like you're well on yer way to creating a masterful and original composition. Thanks for sharing mate. Saved/faved. Lates!
The beats on this remind me of some action movie (like the stuff that plays during the intro of the main characters or during the outro, post climax when the lead is making either the mission statement of his/her group, the film, or is announcing their version of "Happily ever-after"). And despite the somewhat slower flow of the synths on this I think that it creates an interesting dynamic to the fast paced drums. In a way, creating a sort of Lounge-ish vibe to the song. As if the song itself is a duality (like the epidermis of skin or water-table, separating gas from liquid... inside from outside). In a way, it's as if you've captured the voice of contemplation here. Creating a soundtrack for our inner-monologues (or firing neural synapses... which gave me a thought, since they're electrical impulses, I wonder what sort of sound they produce, if any). Cool stuff here mate. Would make for a great video. Lates!
Thanks for great comments man, the communication thing is an interesting subject, I actually started off with electronic music somewhere along the line of asking myself the same question, + rounding it otherwise too - any sound must have an effect we just don't know about yet. Btw I sadly lost half of that song recently, but I see what you mean with your tips, my latest project, was not goa related but hip hop/dubstep kinda thing, found this great pella and...
couldn't finish it since :)
This is too cool! I love the beats! That guitar is really cool, especially with the pitch bending! Nice use of the vocals too! This is a great chill out track! Haunting stuff! I like it!
I've heard a few tracks using this a capella and this one is the most unique so far. Great job with the guitar modulations, some cool sounds! Well done!
hell yeah, HELL YEAH....im loving this one, wicked ass intro, beat is outa control mad, and the guitar is sick....with the lyrics tying it all in this ones faved!....maybe they need a mega fav section! cause id put this one in it!
keep doing what you do, this is mad...cant say anymore!!
