Not your usual hip hop....just good music in whatever genre it is (I`m not particularly knowledgeabout genres)...seems to have a touch of what is now called R&B...a sprinkling of soul....the synth sweep is what takes it a bit aside from being easier to define...but...in any case...I like your musical imagination & enjoyed the listen....looks like you are due to do a new one soon NS...good job on this......Ed
I have no musical background but I have loved soundtrack and interesting music for some time.. and man, you have something here. Love the layers and textures here.
Electro Euphoria man. Nice one. Always like when a variety of sounds are blended together musically in a way that it draws you in pretty instantly. Kind of gives me vibes i got from this game i got for the 360 called "Vanquish." (Highly recommend playing it by the way.) This sounds more like intelligent electronica too if you ask me, all the sounds work and mesh together quite nicely. Almost seems to evolve as you go, constantly changing and shape shifting form. great track brudda. peace
Yess MusicalStrawberry...I just passed through your profile...very soulfull sounds, here!!! ...and THANX for the nice comment you left on my DUB Track! Stay blessed!
This is a smooth beat! Definitely not your usual hip hop! The piano part is really good! Very nice mixing on this one! That's a groovy bass line! I can definitely hear the Beastie Boys influence on this one! No tips for you, as this is pretty near perfect! Great work!
Ambient intro to this is awesome, really dig the breaks that kick in after, transitions I think are spot on, very cool change ups that really work, can't give you any tips on the mastering just don't be afraid to boost those levels and keep to what you are doing, this is complex and really well put together, awesome sounds bro, really enjoyed this, faved.
It kills me that over 100 people could play this (and even 1 downloaded it) without so much as giving 1 review (lazy ppl, shakes head).
Haha, the "Go" voc-sam is givin me flashbacks to all of those Go labelled songs from the late 90s. The track does bounce around a bit. Interesting blend of styles here (probably gonna sound like a noob, but what is 'Jarvis'?). And I dunno why, but this makes me think of the kinda stuff they played during the parking garage party scenes in the film The Fast And The Furious: Tokyo Drift. Come to think of it, this'd be pretty sweet to listen to while playing on of the Need For Speed games, ya know? Anyways, nicely done mate. Lates!
Nice dark intro! I was impressed once the beat got going, this is a really unique style of trance! Have you tried using a multiband compressor while mastering, I think that might be just what this track needs. Very cool song though!
This track has a lot of promise. I like the opening theme whiuch moves on well to the second section. However, I feel the inbtro goes on a little too long. I love the goa atyle electro sounds and the moody feel of the first half. There are flashes of brilliance in the second half but there feels a little too much padding there as well, IMO
Enjoyed listening to this track. At times I wish a solid groove would drop but instead, you opted for more creative rhythmic patterns and effects. Overall nice job. I find most of the house that is considered banging are typically simple in arrangement. I guess most producer want to stamp the groove and have it seared into the listeners mind.
thanks for the comment, I appreciate your opinion on this. Dropping the groove appeals to me as a concept to extend the track, I might get to it in the future since I really like this one myself.
Flamenco rap, I love it!!!! I think this once again proves the power of fusion, especially in the right hands. Great combination, great mix, and one of the most creative songs I've heard in a while.
Neon, wonderful work here. I love delay, and probably use it more than I should. But delay always makes me feel like the instrument is having an intimate conversation with itself.....maybe that sounds strange, but it's the feeling I get when I listen to it.
This is really nicely done, almost introspective at times, but definitely a wonderful ride.
I'm not sure what you meant by "open air feel" but it does put me in the mind of a big outdoor party. maybe it's because of that coment, haha. I don't know but I like it. keep it up.
