heya so the depth in this and the atmos are superb, i love the live feel to it, however the break at the beginning sounds tiny bit cheesy, but as it grows it envelopes me and thats like awesome. the screechy lead is nice in here, i dig this track a lot, imo it can use just a slight bit of mastering on volume and aligning the instruments but already as it is atm its really great, love it. the drop just before 3.00 is amazing, i like how there's an extra hit to it. Afterwards it sounds kinda perfect to me, wish it kept going, - great work.

on Melancholy Life (Track Redone) by MeganONeill
The melody is super, appeals to me a lot. I'd add more thickness to the vocals or just volume, but its all together beautiful, and when the drop comes its wild. A well put together, engaging track but my ears lack depth, perhaps a layer or two of something to accenturate what you got going here would constitute for all the tips i can give. The mixing of the hip hopish break with the housy feel is well done -really captivating. Nevertheless I'd love to hear more meat to it, its well done, keep it up.

Thank you! and I'll take that critique to heart and see what I can do! Singing obviously is more of my strongpoint than making music haha! Thanks again!

on Tribute to LAROCCA by elvislazdins
hey so I was listening to DJ Venice and was curious what house we got on looperman, this came up first-I gotta say, -first thing that came into my mind was that the background eq atmos layer can be more variable, but when it kicked in with the break,- i was sold -great stuff. very powerful, engaging. Anyway I'd add another layer in the background, a bit more soul to it, but the bottom line-the drive punches through nicely, keep it ups.

Spiv! this sh.tuff is dope! great f breaks 'n'vibes all together. Love it how you played the eq on this one. This is one pumping'track. I can hear you through it, the rawish bass style, - but at around 2.20 i wish it dropped into something more multi-encompassing, like a variety of, - or a spectrum of this particular vibe-enchancing frequencies. Good vibe though, I'd say extend your breaks and add some layers, shtuff is smooth though, keep it up.

diggin this track, loving your feel for melody and crossover balance. If listening specifically for dnb it's a trifle too slow though. The dynamics like the intermission and breaks - the whole build up rocks though, but its like I wish all yer tracks were longer. Norm I'd cut my way through it but here I'm afraid its too awesome to cut anything away, -great works.

alividlife replied Unknown
Totally agree.. It's like.. I always try and figure out how to pull off the whole 180 BPMish thing.. and this is WAaaaaay to slow to be DnB.. you shoulda heard the demos at 90 BPM.. I couldn't fake it well enuff.. but whatever.. I am still not very happy with this track as of yet.. but time will tell,.. Thanks for taking the time tho!

maaad, mad vibes :o, ye i like it...as for the tips I'd say watch the mastering load, especially volume to be all-compatible hehe, but the tune is great, its somewhere out there, out there, - it feels like a coming up metal track, great melody lines, - i wish it continued. Sounds sincere, good instrument pick,- sounds pure, alive and awesome, its like I wish this was played by the philarmonic orchstra as a genre.

on Screaming Zombie and The Shobbler- FML by ScreamingZombie
this sounds different, prolly coz the bass is thin, i like it though, enjoying the skinny feel of this track, not feeling the intensity but i like it as it is -iz zounds like a swarm of bees getting shitfaced to a reggae track- :D anyhow seriously I like the feel to this, it could use a bit more flesh and maybe accents (conga?) imo but sounds rather nice & unique as it is.

thx, I Appreciate it!!
Yeah i think your right, it is a bit thin around the edges. I think ill Mix it again, maybe add some more instruments?

that's beautiful man, sounds great to me. the instruments are neat and well mastered it all sounds so clear. Very much enjoying this piece. Right up till the screaming -he he- that was unexpected but not displaced, the part after that is sweet. Name, -something that has to do with smoking, summer and the collapse of our global economy - maybe.

cool setup, some classic tunes in here, sounds like an old time fave or somewhat.. nice stuff man, but damn why is every 2nd track a hip hop beat, this melody and setup would make a great storyline track or a cool theme or something not quite heard before. Love it though, good work.

amazing vibe coming off this track, like steam in a seemngly deserted subway station etc etc.. damn this is inspirational, I wish it were longer. well done man.
p.s.
the bassdrum is a bit on the heavy/high volume side here-shading off the melody but aint a big trouble.

on Savage Ft Korrupt Dialect (Re-mixed) by fixxxer
the bass is awfully wide, which aint bad actually, but feels funny in headphone mode, the background melodics are great, awesome vibe off those. pella is nice, all in place, great feel to this track, I wish the bass was less destroying so i could put this onto my mp3,
-peaces.

Thank you for taking the time to listen. I'm glad that you enjoyed. It is pretty brutal bass wise. One for the subwoofer people to show off with. I have a sneaking suspicion that this might make anything that isn't securely fastened rattle a little bit. Shame that you can't risk the mp3 player. :)

Captain's log supplimental..
Have had a fiddle and think we've rained that bassline in enough for proper belting this one out. Mp3 should be safe now dude.. peace :)

on I Dub Thee Brother by dv8
nice stuff, deserves more commenting, no constructive tips from me on this though, it sounds real pleasant and done as it is. Just wanna say it rocks, some good dub right here, light it up... Eeh, well one to go, - perhaps slight variation in the base break accents, sort of an inside melody would do fine. The drums are sweet, love it how they kick it up, energetic yet profound and not without structure. Nice channeling heres. This track is definitly something, it evokes a really pleasant feeling of concentrated goodness or something alike, keep it up.

I think the starting flow is just superb, the on coming melody is great, it all fits together well, and yet remains contrasting. Amazing track man, just sick flow. You could get the bass down even more, with another layer or some, perhaps. But f.. this track's just awesome! drums are kicking it, all in place, all neat, this is something I'd love to have as the track playing when I enter a deep tekno/core party, getting ready to get shitfaced and such, speaking of which, -I think this piece of splendid music would make a good base for a tekno mix or a profound banger, like spor style or some, anyhow, great work!!!

wow, thats one of a kind. Great theme, great melody flow. an amazing track to listen and drift away with. Nice mixture with in my view an alternative touch to it. The choir vocals is overdoing it a little in me view but the whole thing is superb.

on deep blue sky by thyroid
- thy this is good work. I really enjoy binding these sounds to the title you gave it. I really like the atmosphere and although it wouldn't be one of my loop tracks I definitly appreciate it a lot. To me there's clear sincerety in here and the darkness is kinda not without hope. Also just wanna say I dig your profile and kinda felt like saying that taking smaller steps doesn't always mean that you move slower. That's nothing to do with the track though, just came into my mind while listening. About the track I'd like to add that me fancy not only the sincerety but also the beautiful melody and the drums are nicely in place, nothing overdone, nothing too shallow. I dig this a lot. It's something quite out of the ordinary and the used sounds are real good, but as a tip I'd say there can be more fluctuation within the texture of the sound to make different instruments more distinct from eachother to avoid a grey blend. It's not that bad in here as in some other pieces I heard on the web, but I think it could add a professional sound to your work if the instruments are few and profound. All in all I love this track, real distinct vibe. Take care further on and hope to hear more of you.

I bet there ain't such fine collection of authentic hip hop tracks anywhere but looperman. Anyhow, from the start i can feel the vibe-makes me wanna say homey, but it's got something in it from eminem's stan song. Loving it. cool voice. Melody is sweet, kinda relaxed yet jolting. That pella. sounds real familiar i think I tried to work it time ago, from prolyfik i think, other pella but similar words and unfinished, this one sounds way better though, any chance I could get mu hands on it for an electronic track? The piano bits are very nicely done. Very atmospheric track all around, created a specific kinda mood man, good work.

on hey music by joroch
hey i love the fx and off melody on this. Not sure if the comment would be in place but just writing from a personal point of view. The vocal is super, sharp synths around 1.23 and bass line further on are great. However the bulky synth that sorta breaks off the intro from the rest of the track is not my thing at all. Its well in place here but I would give it more variation, perhaps a few pitch slide downs here and there. vocal is cool, then the electronic kinda breakdown around 2.35 that reminds me of crystal method is awesome! I would build a whole other track around that. anyways just felt like expressing those thoughts, keep up the good work-sharp style in it.
