A more than relaxing Bossa-Nova here, with some ingredients of smooth, and a lot of nice ambient. As you got used us, a part of your signature is also the guitar. Well done my friend.
I write this as the music plays. I've heard a minute so far. I'm going to download and fav.
I hear influenses of the progressive rock band era (oddly enough a german band called Eloy comes to mind), wonderful sounding synths.
You have a rare quality in your work and I am full of admiration. A truly wonderful piece, even more so than expected. And that is actually saying quite a lot.

Ps check out the album Silent Cries and mighty echoes, you'll find it on spotify. In spite of their heavy german accent it's a really good album.
I love the original beat and the backward sounds as a layer for the guitars. A real trip... the name is right. The muse was there? Cleopatra, I mean:))
Great tune Jamie,The bass grabbed me first and everything else fell into place...horns,piano and the guitar was so great to hear...just right.
Very good!
elephant guitar huh? Excellent - love all yer guitar synth stuff and can tell yer havin great fun - it comes through. You have a great ear in everyway for putting together so many different things! In particular I really appreciate the harmony guitar - not sure if that is a pitch effect or if you played 2 trax but either way - its great - and love the gentle "pad breakdown".
Hey mate...listening to this makes me wish I had an afro hair style and some loud jacket on and just went around saying things like "Crazy Daddy-O"..or "Groovy Baby" hehe...you've got that signature JFW sound cooking on this little number..super crisp sound with tight progressions..it just all rolls along effortlessly with that guitar swank and swagger when you need it...I think sooner or later someone's going to name a cocktail after one of your tunes..I'll drink to that!..salut' Dave :)
sweet! this is very groovy - like grover washington bob james sorta groove to me - wow - you really are one versatile dewd, jamie - always impressed - great listen here!!
This is really great production in every way and you got every right to be awefully proud here!
PS - really love the bass!!
yes yes yes. there it right there the ham and eggs i was looking for. solid track man the piano the strings and every other sound in here is perfect everything you would here in a 70's track is in this one. i wouldn't change a thing. i like how the guitar and i want to say organ synth comes in here and there. good stuff right here man if you keep making them like this man we just might have to nominate you for pimp of the year lol. keep up the hood work.
It is impossible to pass by without listening to your compositions. What I can say?. It's warm, melodic and well crafted in all its instruments ... is wonderful. The dawn of a new day full of sunshine.
Wow, another excellent piece from you! I always love your guitar synth work! This does have a real clarity to it! Love the jazzy drums on this one! You are a master of fusion! Great work!
Are you playing bass in this? If so great job! The horns were cool and you played some really nice licks on the guitar. The intro was fun! Nice chilled out piece of muic Jamie.
This reminds me of the days when i was growing up, it's the kind of tv music from series such as CHIPS and Dan Tanner Las Vegas, BJ and the Bear themes...
Hmmm, brings back good memories, and its a cool laid back tune.
Catch you! in the good way, of course: the E W & F influence at brass section. I was hardly waited your new arrangement. There are some favorites composers on this site. You are one of them!
Best regards,
I love the piano it gave me the goosebumps, good stuff. I also like your light beat you used, I feel like most would have plastered on an overly loud house beat. The bass is right up my alley nice and warm. It all seems to evolve from the opening well. Much love jfw, keep up the good work.
Nice to have a touch of Jessica's music still ringing through the halls of looperman. This is real smooth and very well put together. Thanks for posting this Jamie!
Jamie! I thought I had heard this before but I hadn't...this mix is really fat, love that fretless tone on the git synth...I want to come back and hear this again...this track gave me an idea that I had toyed with b4 in my mind, but now seems more interesting than ever after hearing this today..I need more guitar though...hint, hint! talk more later...all the best to you and yours
Your music sounds very funky. But I'm more into the bass funk with a little hiphop flava. But I enjoyed your track very much. "Keep'em comin & Keep'em movin".
I gather you are somewhat familiar with string theory. And what great resonance you have created here. A seriously beautiful piece of music, my friend, suitable for any occasion, but especially the quiet and pensive moments.
