Greetz Dj Terrormaster Ps. Listen my tracks please im sure u will liek them
This track thumps!!! Love hardcore, but hard to find stuff i like these days, but this i like. Found my way here via the interesting discussion on the forum
very catchy, I cannot stand the matrix in reason, try out the thor and Arpeggiator, you cannot go wrong! Try putting scream on it and cranking the rez for a boss effect
Protools is awesome man, looks like you got to grips pretty well with xpand and so on, you should get ozone 4, it fattens up the mix so much, it will blow your brains out your ass!
Play 2 now... Okies, the part starting @ around 0:57 and lasting to 1:16 (give or take) was the only part of the song that I didn't much care for. I dig the concept, but am thinkin that ya might wanna throw on some effects to that part. Something to give it an extra sense of dimension, because at the mo' it kinda reminds me of a skipping record. That said, I really loved what ya did to her vox too and for some odd reason it reminded me a little bit of Britney Spears (the way she sounds on her perfume commercials). And the groove of this is def funky fresh. The stuff ya used with the bass was boss. Though given it's length is it safe to assume that it isn't finisheed yet? Keep bangin it out mate. Later on!
Holy shit :P hell loads of works on this track i bet :P RLY NICE ! im not nto happy hardcore..but this sounds awesome in my ears :) thx for me /Soren :)
Thanks a lot mate, i am currently working on a new and even better track (i think), so iwill release that and tell me what you think :) hopefully it might even be a 8/10 or better!
wow great job on this one you definately got some mad skills keep it up
Ok i have listened to dis track like 5 times and everytime the track is done o feel like i have ran a marathon with all the moving and jumping i did, yea i said jumping ill admit it dis song made me get up and jump thats how great this track it but im sure i burned bout 10 pounds listening to this song by da time im done ima be one skinny dude so ima haveta get me alot of McDonalds to keep from happening oh and again GREAT JOB

But could you do me a massive favour and subscribe to my youtube channel to see whenever i release new tracks? Its at
This is excellent, the sounds you captured brings me back a lot of years. (GOOD THING) Really nice synth leads and pianos. Great work! I think I'll fave this one!
Thanks a lot man, im really glad you liked it! i think i will have to possible revise some of the synths i use, i know they are a little outdated lol. thanks for the review!
Hello Well im not a hardcore fan not these days anyway, but this is not too hard a track and I enjoyed it especially since you created eveything your self. i did think a bit quiet on the bass as well. But you certainly have talent - well done mate. Regards Krook
Well thanks a lot man, i made it more Uk Hardcore, like hixxy etc, not like angerfist so i guess its more like happy hardcore :) Thanks for your review! p.s. and i will turn up the bass!
Wow,what a brilliant track!I could dance my ass off to this.Brilliantly crafted and such a hit! The talent u have will not go un-noticed.Be prepared to see your name up in lights!!
Wow, thanks a lot bro, i really appreicate it! Do you really think i could accually go somewhere with this? i just have no idea where to start! but it would be good!
love the ethnic feel to the track at the start :) sounds like its from the middle east lol and the lead synth that comes in after is phat as ace track :) btw just something random i was surfing youtube today lookin at tracks and i randomly came across you lol just thought it was weird keep the good work up anyways
Wow nice one, thanks a lot lot lot mate!! haha yep im trying to promote myself as much as i can!! maybe one day i will become rich and famous, you never know lol!
I'm loving that bass, I don't like to use matrix in Reason though, unless I am Amp Gating a sound rhythmically. The clap could be a little louder too. Around 1:20 or so those pads that come in are a bit louder than everything else, drowning them out a bit in my opinion.
ahh ok, i quite like matrix, but i mean thats the only sequencer i have seeing as i only have a small adapted version of reason.I would like another more advanced one that would be good. And yes, the pads are a little loud, but i guess they still sound ok though, it seemed like everyone else liked it i think. And ill make the clap louder yeah :) thanks for ur comments! Dj Somnium
Bass is a little quiet in the mix, just trying to help here, I have helped Paul plenty too. Your synth is a little thin, my first released uses 7 synths all layered to get a phat lead. 6 of those are samples put in a sampler from something like Vengeance. When you come into the first chorus there is no melody before the chorus, you should have it there in some way before you drop everything in, otherwise it's kind of awkward.
Great track!

EDIT:
Ok well for the leads, I have Darren Styles - Come Running on vinyl, one of the few Styles tunes I like. If you listen it has a biting high, it's a killer lead, but it's got mids, something your lead lacks. When I make my leads I will have a synth one octave, then one an octave higher, then another lower than the first. Making leads can be tough. Come running is no thin lead though, it is a bit thinner than most, but instead of having the usual bass it layers a similar synth an octave lower, to fill those frequencies, other tracks that use that are Lumin8 - Rivers Flow In You and .... ohh what's it called, it might be a remix of Watergate - Heart of Asia, I'll find it!
While I am searching here is another comment. I hope you listen to more than the Clubland X-Treme Hardcore. I can't stand them, it's all the same to me, you should listen to Bonkers 17 Mix 2 (Kevin Energy and Sharkey Mix) to hear some real creativity, it's amazing.
Listen to around 4:20, that's when the song starts, then listen to the melody, it's not constantly playing, but it's got a hard higher synth on the mid frequencies filling the gap.
Thanks for your opinion mate, its much appreicated :)
I can see what you mean about the bass being a little quiet so i can boost that up whenever.
As far as the synths go, i find that layering many synths can create a muffled lead with less edge and bite, even though it does have a wider and more complete tone, but is personally what i prefer. This minimal stacking of synths is quite popular in a lot of UK hardcore recently in order to provide a 'harder' and more prominent melody. An example off the top of my head would be 'Come Running' by Darren Styles, if you listen the synth lead in the chorus of that track is very similar, in the fasion of not being overly-reinforced, with only two or three synths stacked.
Adressing the structure is an aspect that i have seen needs some improvement, as this is of course only my fourth attempt at a hardcore track! However, the way in which i have not built up the main melody before the chorus is not entirley unconventional, and im sure as many people would confirm, not completly disagreeable or 'awkward'. There are of course tracks which conform to this as well, perhaps 'Rise Again' can be considered one as well. You have provided some usefull and insightfull critisism, which im happy to consider in furthering my experience in this new process and im happy to take some tips onboard, especially from someone who has produced so many tracks, and has great equipment and has had so much experience! Also, good luck with your release hope all goes well! Dj Somnium
Wow thanks a lot dude! do you really think i should try and get my music out there? i dont know how many people listen to hardcore/happy hardcore etc, but i could give it a go! well, thanks for the review!! Edit: Accually you could always fave it as well if you like it that much lol!
Thanks for the comment, i know what you mean i just randomly decided to use that vocal sample for some reason. ill try and change the vocals in the future. thanks!
