    I love hardstyle

    the drums are perfect
all that is missing is the classic
    ride and little
scratch pattern that somehow finds its way
    somewhere in it haha

But it sounds great without it because
    you have awesome samples

And the synths could be just a bit harder
to sound alot more beefy but you got the melody
and everything right as well as the bass

    you win
    XD

woo hoo thanks toxic!! i loved the vocal samples as well, inspired me really! you are right about the ride, but i mean whatever i guess the beat is still fine. and I definatly agree about the scratch pattern but i really have no idea where i can go about getting or making one! And yeah the synth could be a bit harder, but its a little hard given the limited resources i have but i could still try! thanks heaps for your advice!!

    happy effing hardcore.
    love it.
    the piano break = pristine.
that pitch shifting synth is nasty, i wouldn't change a thing about this track except to make it last for eternity.
i have no other great words for this, overall a killer production.
    3...2...1... *spirals into oblivion*

Great work on this, Sounds like a lot of work went into this. The drop is excellent, fantastic melody, fantastic base built off. Perhaps the only thing i'd Change is that glock at the start, its too center or somethin' mabe somemore wet verb r i dunno the rest is great, great morphs transitions drops and builds. keep it up.

I like this man.. good build good breaks.. bassy deff a trancey feel.. The only way i know to push uniqueness is go for what people havent heard yet.. and using different synths and sounds that are different if you can.. im more hiphop and rap but i sill enjoyed it.. good job on constructing and mastering it.. good shit - gotti

You did some real nice work on the synths lines Lorin! This is a super good driving beat too. All the way in the production.

Ain't it time for you to be talking to labels my man? :D

    DjSomnium
    Reply by DjSomnium

hey thanks a lot man :D I tried to emulate a lot of the common techniques and sounds found in some hardcore tracks, and added in my own feel into the mix. For instance there are not as many hardcore tracks with the eastern feel that i added into the beginning. Its got some good mixing and automation applied.

And what do you mean by labels? I dont suppose you mean like RECORD LABELS?? wow the thought is crazy. I mean this is only my like fifth techno track all up, and i mean im only 17. Do you really think it would be a realistic option? if i could pump out tracks regularly liks this, perhaps it is? Well im not sure about how ANY of that kind thing works really. Reply in review?

great climax...and yes i can hear it distort in some places.
but it sounds good one thing the xylo and piano are a bit of in some places never the less...the structure if good.

Hmm..I really liked this tune but unlike most I wish you would re do the track minus bells and add something a little darker sounding because to me the guitar is begging for that. A side note my audio was crackling like crazy until I physically uninstalled and re installed my wireless card and updated the bios on my computer and if you are using Vista (I am) PCI cards seem to be the culprit-If that helps.

Lot of work in this track it is very obvious, well done. Now I only had the clipping when played back at maxed volume so maybe the kick part of the track is too "hot"? Nice work.

yeah this is really good all round pretty much! Only thing missing for me was I didn't find myself connecting with it on an emotional level...i.e didn't give me shivers..which I believe is what trance should do at some point in a song, plus keep you wanting more...All the melodies you have in here are great!! Although I feel a bit too full on...take them back a bit, and introduce them bit by bit...so when the full melody hits you its like you've been waiting for it for ages....thats what really gives impact!!

Nice work tho for your second trancer!!

Nice 1, 2, 3 usage of the main intro synth. The Piano break down reminds me of someone, but I just can't put my finger on it at the mo'. Thanks for sharing. Later on!

    Hey mate,
I'm here to personally invite you to join in on Stage2's Mission 2- To do some kind of tribute to Bilbozo. The link to Stage2 is on my profile.

As for this, it was kinda short, but sweet none-the-less. In fact, I'm thinkin that you, Helven, & Rei4Real could do somethin really amazing with it. Dunno if you've ever checked out their stuff, but I'm pretty sure you'd like it.
Oh, and how's that Line6 workin out for ya? I've been thinkin about gettin one of their Bass Pods lately.
Anyways, this is a pretty sweet foundation I can't wait to hear the finished result. Later on!
