Great work. I was trying to figure out why this song reminded me of a beach. When i finally came out of the daydream i drifted into i realized it was the birds. Nice touch; they are subtle yet very efficient.

The bass on this is insane! I have a sub under my desk (I rest my feet on it) and it was like a foot-spa, just without the water.........I hope you take a positive out of that

The drum work is pretty great in the beggining, the bass is ridiculous on my sub woofer. Great samples, maybe run a few of them through a low pass filter? A little repetitive too.

Great track!

wow i really liked the bass on this, very groovy, also the drum beat at the beggining ( the one with the 16th hit hat hits ) was really enjoyable, i like those voice clips too.

Hi Planet,
Getting around to review one of your tracks as you recenty did one of mine..
Has sort of a surfing sound to the guitar part. (I learned guitar by copying 'The Ventures' songs).

Has a steady heavy beat with the bass as background and enough reverb to make it sound like in a club setting being played.
Just overall a good tune with voiceover makes it special.
Nice job Dave,
Randy

Planetjazzbass replied Unknown
Hey Randy...this was just a quick tongue in cheek tune..If I was to do real surfing background music for a surf flick I think I'd have to go the 'New Wave' route!...cheers mate

Woah the bass is out of this world! I can imagine the sand and surf. I'm not much into them Bondi surf boys, but this song made them all sound sexy schmexy! Love how Robert laughs too: HEHEEEYHEHEHEHE!!!11oneone!!

Full of glee and mischief! Excellent track. Everything flowed wonderfully smooth!

Eshars voice - Somehow it made me think of like medival story tellers her voice has a great sound to it.

this is excellent dave .. to me it was like a musical trip. I found myself drifting off to another place while it was playing. I really liked it but it sort of disturbed me at the same time (a bit like the film). The production and mix gave it a real organic ,original sound, if that makes any sense. another pjb classic. all the best mik

never heard a surfer song like this before .... and it's one of the best so far I ever heard ...
sounds like some sort of "chemical surfing"!!!
absolutely amazing, I guess only an opend minded person like you can make a song like this ... I'm very impressed ...
brilliant!!!!

Thank you Rei..I've always been a big fan of surf music..The way the oceans are these days just about every time you go in the water your probably "chemical surfing"..I must play it to some young surfer dudes and see what they think..lol cheers mate :)

Wowza! What an amazing tune Dave. Great production and balance. Using these samples from one of the best actors taken from one of the best films ever made is a sign of your genius.
A flawless piece from a true artistic musician. Today is a good day!
