Description : Hallo again! just around here to present this tune unmastered, it could be perfected, it's a kind of abstract ambient minimal basic random elements i think, see you next!
Description : 100BPM upbeat chillout dance music with lots of lead electric cello. One fat synth bass throughout, a soaring filtered violin VST, a funky organ, a couple of vocal samples and a bit of electric guitar towards the end. Drums are fat and you can dance to them - a mixture of various loops and a few programmed drum kits. Between 2:50 and 3:22, I think the lead cello part really sounds like blues harmonica so let me know what you think about that. Kind of a minimal instrument lineup for me but hopefully the relative simplicity is effective. It's supposed to be a clean and smooth track but with some added attitude when it goes a bit heavier and more intense. Have a good listen and then consider leaving me some fascinating feedback. Criticism, praise, ideas - whatever you think is appropriate. Happy grooving...
Description : minimal tech house good beat please comment
Description : minimal trippy hip hop track. feel free to add lyrics. have fun with it. let me know if you're making something out of it. leave a link. ask permission for commercial use... you'd be crazy 'cause it needs way more work.
Description : Deep grooving, slightly psychedelic cello grunge. There's no guitar but there is loads of electric cello, all played by me. The only other instruments are a violin VST, 5 seconds of Rhodes, a fat organ, a few programmed acoustic drum kits and no drum loops. No bass instruments but I do sometimes use an octave effect on cello parts to give a fatter low end. Starts off with some cool, smooth basslines and a funky little beat and then gets a lot more badass. End section is a real dirty rockin' surprise but it's only one distorted cello part plus heavy drums (very minimal). Have a good listen and then consider leaving me your fascinating feedback. Get ready to rock!
Description : Guitar over some kind of loop. Electronic, Minimal, Ambient, Jazz, Modal, etc..

Description : A minimal techno/dark ambient track I've been working on. Fasten your seat belts, it's a creepy dark ride.
Description : I may have mentioned to a few people that I had recorded an EP to cassette tape in November. The thirty minute, seven track tape was recorded on 14th and 15th November (during that excellent full moon). My process, this time, involved choosing a group of instruments from my main studio, and then interfacing them in a way that allowed me to perform a spontaneous track live. There was no planning, and each track was only given attention until the previous was lain on tape. All in all, it was a very rewarding experience to create "on a whim" like this. No DAW was used to create the sounds, or to perform/arrange them. All instruments were mixed in real time, and the output was forever dedicated to the magnetic medium. All of these songs were instrumental, and not traditional in their performance. This is a digital capture of two songs from the EP - "Agonist Moon" and "Faultline" - They are the last track of Side A and the first track of Side B. If you are not familiar with those terms... they indicate the direct physical and psychological experience of interacting with recorded media in order to play it in it's entirety. "Agonist Moon" was described by my wife as an "Icaro," which is a tribal shamans healing song in certain cultures. "Faultline" is more of a peak minimal technological shift into the rest of the EP. UPDATE - The entire Agonist Moon EP digital re-master is now available here... https://spivkurl.bandcamp.com/album/agonist-moon-ep

Description : Psychedelic, Eastern, dark dance/jazz/fusion based around my cello playing with only minimal other instrumentation. There are two sections of electric guitar, one section of Fender Rhodes, one synth pad, some swirling female vocal samples and one sub synth bass. Apart from multiple drum loops and programmed acoustic drumkits, everything else is cello, including most of the weird sounds. If something sounds weird, it's probably bowed cello. Lots of layers of overlapping cello parts here, including a proper bassline 0:19-1:17 (that's the cello going through an octave pedal) and some 'beyond the fingerboard' alien harmonics in the fast swing jazz sections. The drums keep changing, moving through at least 4 or 5 styles to keep things interesting, concluding on a slow, shuffle blues style. This isn't perfect but I'm not sure what else I can do to improve it. Interesting and hopefully intelligent thoughts and reactions are, as always, much appreciated. Get ready for a dark, psychedelic journey...
Description : Cosmic Eastern chillout atmospheric shuffle blues with loads of bluesy/Eastern electric guitar playing and warm sub bass (the same synth patch I've used in about 20 tracks). No drum loops and just two programmed acoustic kits - probably the simplest drum setup I've ever used. One day I hope to make a track containing only one drum kit. Also: a few female vocal samples (including a heavily timestretched one), one section of bass guitar, a few sample-based string instruments, a few notes of organ and two synth pad instruments. So, quite a minimal instrument lineup for me. It goes uptempo around 4:31 into a grooving, stomping bit of shuffle blues and I wonder if I should have brought this section back at the end for a triumphant finale. But I'm trying hard these days not to make things too long and this is already a decent length. Also contains some darker, Eastern sections but nothing too dark. Have a listen and leave me some interesting feedback - the more detail, the better.
