Description : Second track - after 'Costello' - in my 'The Paris Tapes'-project. Nu Jazz/Chillout. This track features a rap by Kcentric on ccMixter. Kcentrix is an electronic music composer and lyricist who carves out a unique niche by fusing Hip Hop, Jazz, Spoken Word, Breakbeat, and Electronic styles. I incorporated (parts) of his rap 'Dream Of You' in this laid back, short groove, highlighted by Miles Davis-inspired muted trumpet-sounds. This, again, is an attempt to create a 'big city vibe'. It's part of a project wich I hope to finish this year, featuring (jazz)artists from all over the world in unusual musical settings, created by me. PS: the beautiful face in the picture is of former adult performer Sasha Grey. The pic is from the the 2009 movie 'The Girlfriend Experience' by Steven Soderbergh, a film that made a big impression on me. It's a drama set in the days leading up to the 2008 Presidential election, and centered on a high-end Manhattan call girl meeting the challenges of her boyfriend, her clients, and her work. As far as 'big city' is concerned, this is the soundtrack-feel I'm looking for.

Description : Done with Reason, this wierd cinematic piece is about a girl running in a forest (this is the drum part). Then when the synth start, she sees some unusual movements and hears a strange Female Aaaahh voice... coming out of nowhere.What's happening next? An epic Good VS Evil battle through the hunted forest.

Description : Finally finished this vocal track. Patricia Edwards acapella, funk bassline and a big breakbeat drop. This one features six yr old girl Vongai singing "money ,money ,money" @ the beginning! I promised her she could sing on the track .Liking this one and hope you lot dig it too!Apologies for the bad mastering on the early version it was mastered too loud...

Description : what do you think about this song? please coment, you opinion is important to me... i did this songs yesterday saturday, june 16, 2012.. my english sucks but i have to record the song to remake it later... im going to the english school so, eventually i will be good enogh to sing it with no problem... i dont want to be a singer or a rapper. im more into the song writting and beat making so maybe in a near future i will give this song to someone else to sing... i hope you like it! I recently met a very talanted homeless Korean girl who disnt know a chord or note, but could write music and lyrics like you talk. She was homeless cause of family abuse and negilect cause she was not getting stratight As in school. I was very moved by this and inspire me to write this music. This Jorney is far from over!Bm;)

Description : the indian flute makes a welcome return in this one - it's more a conversation than a tune. i used a slow beat - which stops and goes at abrupt intervals. i've also used a very 'synthetic' analog voice in the back (doubling as the bassline).just felt like messing around and this girl showed up on the pc screen.

Description : found this sweet accapella and placed a simple tune around it, the singing was a litte off tempo in parts but i cut and chopped to bring back on track, this is the base tune i am now working on restructuring the song as a complete package with more interesting sections slotted in, looking at the other comments on this girl the overall opinion would be to drop the autotune, ive done my best to smooth it out and normalise it, any comments ?

Description : rework of stephanie kays accapella - having made one version went back to the start and tried a differant approach, remenicant of old 80's - picked out a couple of key words and put through vocoder, looped and mixed with originals . quite a good sound but not quite there yet, any suggestions ?

Description : First of all let me apologize for the language at the beginning, i left it in there because it was live so i wanted you to have the same feeling of being there when it happened.. Got a new recording program yesterday... so now i got everything to lay the vox in the booth... I saw that there was a cypher going on on looperman...Needless to say it was about 2:30 am last night i was having fun partying on a Friday night with my girl and it was the first time i recorded live in front of her...I stepped up to the mic and she put her 2 cents while listening through the monitors; while i was recording ....all audio was live from last night, so i had to put everything on the track from start to finish that way you could get the real feel of what the enviornment was last night......She kind of put me on the spot so i had to come out hard with it! Results: I stepped it up and she loved the verse, i'm going to have to take her to the studio more often, it seems that i really shine when she's listening in...Mad props to Protege for the beat he's got some real good stuff! Anyway enjoy and stay tuned i got a bunch of new hot lit tracks headed your way, new flow new things harder tracks i promise....
