Description : This one's a bit hard to describe in that it seems to have a few genres, i.e. rock, funk, R&B, and pop, so I'll just put it under the rock category. I hope you enjoy it, and if you do, feel free to download.Search Rating : 4.45
Description : Brutally honest and terribly contradictory, straight to the point by way of strange curving route between the river and the shopping mall. $5 minimum is a high price to pay for ignorance. I'll tolerate you when you've given in to my scare tactics. Couldn't have done the vocals the way they turned out without a certain ridiculous brainwashed fool, you know who you are. Go ahead, convince yourself that you're doing the right thing. This started out as a simple tech-house sort of instrumental, and then it blew up into what it is now. I used two looperman loops in composition for this track, firstly looperman-l-0630386-0060622-joefunktastic-funk-for-the-soul-drums1-95bpms, and secondly looperman-l-0711726-0058529-proecliptix-raw-loop-1. Thank you immensely to MrFunktastic and Proecliptix for the sweet energy. Beyond that, I want to thank RenzWilde for continuing my evolution as a guitarist... couldn't have done it without you. Guitar is played on my Jackson, which I finally got the floating tremolo set up properly on recently... ahhh intonation. Has a bit of atmospheric synth created on my microkorg, and a nice kick from the Zoom RT-123. Spot vocals and synthie vocals were recorded on my 100 proof mic. Here's what I've got, got anything of value to barter with?Search Rating : 4.45
Description : A powerful piece of epic chillout dance music that's something a little different for me. Rhodes and filter swept, bowed strings are heard a lot but there's also one section of rocking guitar, one slide resonator guitar solo, fat basses, various far out pads and other synths and 10-15 drumloops supported by 6 or 7 programmed acoustic drumkits. Look out for the funk section in the middle (3:02) with some delicate grooving from bass and guitar. Lots of beauty here so I really enjoyed making this. My favourite section is the last 90 seconds with some bowed string melodies I find highly memorable and could listen to for hours. Let me know if you have a favourite section/moment as well as any you don't like or think could be improved (that's always possible). Now press play and sample some of what never really ends in my mind but has to in track form so that people will at least attempt to listen to it. It's only a little bit of infinity as infinity is much larger than 10MB so won't fit on Looperman...Search Rating : 4.45

Description : This unconventional metal track is dedicated to Valvedriver https://www.looperman.com/users/profile/841435 though it's not a parody of his fine music or me actively trying to sound like it. I struggled for months with the first few minutes of this track knowing that I must be able to take it somewhere deeper, more psychedelic and powerful. Then I loaded some sampled choir voice instruments, as used in my track Reckful https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/160356 and suddenly found myself happily in Valveland - not a place I visit often. Feeling amply Valvedriven and newly inspired, I added the last few minutes fairly easily and very quickly. So: it's a twisting, turning mixture of grunge, menacing ambient, mystical metal and ultra-heavy funk. Instruments: electric guitar+bass, synth basses, female choir voices, one synth pad, some other synths on the nastier side of things and a few programmed heavy acoustic drumkits playing a mixture of triplets and straighter grooves. Interesting thoughts appreciated. Favourite bits? Shit bits? Please listen on good headphones/speakers as there's a lot of heavy bass in this. Now get ready to rock: balls out, hands in the air and with rebellious joy in your heart. Just try not to headbang the hell out of your laptop. Go!Search Rating : 4.45
Description : This is a kind of funk-disco-big band number that will make you think of the 70s and 80s, if you're old enough. It has all those vintage sounds so popular in this genre. I tried to maintain the sounds of the time while still enabling some updating. Even if you had never liked disco, give this one a try. It may surprise you.Search Rating : 4.45
Description : This is a fun retro jazz/funk track kind of in the style of Quincy Jones' earlier stuff when he was doing themes for shows like Bill Cosby. There's some groovy organ, guitar, bass and horn stuff going on. Hope you like and feel free to download.Search Rating : 4.45
Description : R&B, Hip-hop, funk infused joint. Just a short little something to chill to.Search Rating : 4.45
Description : Yet another lengthy psychedelic epic by me, though I'd say they're all quite different. This one has more of a focus on electronic dance music and funk but is based around programmed acoustic drums, bass guitar and electric guitar. Also Rebirth 303 loops I made over ten years ago plus various synth leads, pads, basses, arps and glitch effects. Most of the bass is bass guitar and there's even some slap bass! Fairly uptempo but also chilled out though it builds and goes pretty heavy towards the end, featuring crazy lead distorted synth soloing backed up by some pumping guitar riffs and crashing metal drum kits. I do like this but it's not as good as its sister track Lord Of Misrule https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/146013. Let me know what you think, what you'd change etc. I hope you have a fun journey through this constantly shifting sonic landscape...Search Rating : 4.45

Description : This one's a bit different for me, breaking away from the jazz and funk for awhile. This is sort of a dark pop/rock track, incorporating a favorite instrument of mine, the mellotron (VST.) This track kinda took on a life of it's own. I wasn't really sure what kind of track it would become, but here's the result. Hope you like it and enjoy the download.Search Rating : 4.45

Description : Hi! This is the first track (something like a teaser) I've made and uploaded to Looperman. It's just an instrumental track between funk and hip-hop which I've liked a lot since I started it. Now I'm looking for a good singer or rapper who could put his or her voice on it to create a final track. If you do, please send the song back and we'll try to get something cool! Any proposed change would be heard! Thank you very much!

Description : Prepare thyself for an epic hard rock, metal, grunge and ultra heavy funk assault featuring shitloads of heavily layered and sometimes weirdly effected guitars (including slide resonator), multiple basslines (bass guitar + 3 synth basses), a few other synths and a bunch of programmed hard rock and metal drumkits. There's a bit of hip hop in the middle, some hints of reggae (from the guitar) and d'n'b (from the drums) in places. So much energetic guitar, so many double kick and crashing drums and sub basses make for a difficult mix. I wanted it to be absolutely banging but not clipping and distorted. I think I did OK there because it sounds half decent played back on shitty, bassless laptop speakers. If you don't like heavy rocking guitar, you won't like it. But, if you do, you might just love it. It's not just evil metal - I've tried to also keep it funky and melodic as that's more my natural home than all-out brutality. There are a few relatively quieter and strangely chilled out sections as it builds back up to new forms of heaviness and layered psychedelic weirdness. Perspectives and viewpoints welcomed - the more in-depth and interesting the better (the bigger, the fatter, the better). You might want to turn your speakers and sub bass up now...Search Rating : 4.45
Description : This is a catchy little tune reminiscent of the 60s Beatles, Ventures and The Shadows' style, but also some 70s funk and lead guitar riffs thrown in for good measure. It may remind you of the Beatles' "Day Tripper" in some parts if you're old enough to remember (hence the title.) Check it out!Search Rating : 4.45
Description : Do not freak out just because this is jazz! There's also blues, rock, funk and a little hip hop in it to break up the deep, chillout jazz sections - gets particularly rocking then funky at the end. Main bassline (the track's foundation) is recycled leftover slide resonator guitar parts detuned one octave to make a slide bass sound. Also features: piano, violin, hammered dulcimer, organ, ethereal pad guitar, bass guitar, jazz/blues/rock electric guitar and multiple programmed acoustic drumkits. This was difficult to make at times as I thought I needed more leads parts eg from sax or trumpet. But I'm happyish with the end result. I expect very little interest in this as it's both jazz and long jazz. But it's also an unusual type of genre-mixing jazz. So, leave your thoughts, good or bad, if you like...Search Rating : 4.45
Description : Truly one of my greatest tracks. An intense, constantly changing psychedelic deep groove journey through reggae, rock, metal, funk, blues, electronica, deep chillout and more. Slow, fast, funky, beautiful, weird, fun plus a few more adjectives. Big arpeggiated strings, slide resonator guitar, electric guitars, detuned guitar playing massive funky basslines, wicked wah, squelchy synth bass + other synths, acoustic metal and brush drumkits, hip hop drum hits and no loops. Very complex structure and mix so maybe I haven't got it right. Full track is 13 mins 55, link is in comments. Let me know if you don't think it's as good as I do. Or better. Or self-indulgent rubbish. Now get ready to rock. And then write a 10,000 word essay describing it all...Search Rating : 4.45
