#72 : 152 bpm,
full of brass for a fanfare and dancing spirit
Description : Black and blue confession of a placebo recording session. Paranoia and repression - relief, exhilaration... it's all in there. Long uphill ride.
This is my first serious recording of the Music Man CA34 bass we got (Bowie)... and I used my modular synth patched as an envelope filter for the bass in parts. Also it has remnants of a live looping session with my 2xKawa circuit bent drum box and a Digitech Jamman Stereo Pedal. Even did some recording with my Baldwin Fanfare organ after installing individual line outs for all the channels. And yes I sang on it.
Description : Back with an update of this song- 8 June 2014. Took to heart a lot of the helpful comments I got on the earlier version, and I think the ideas helped a lot. This contains some incidental guitar work, which I'd like to dedicate to a friend who is no longer with us. (They won't get away with this!) Added some things and removed others, toned down the automation and effects slightly. It's a little longer now too. Hope you all enjoy listening! Oh yeah, BTW all the vocals are mine including the melodic parts, since some people asked.-----
New moon new song, that didn't take too long. Did this over the last few days. I went into this with some urges to fuse electro house with classic rock, so I'll call it fusion. Played some improv on my Baldwin Fanfare organ. Take what you want from it, and compost the rest. You can get the new Spivkurl album "Charting The Anomaly," which includes this track at the We Are... Description : Where's my proud Christ Followers, living by faith and nothing than his Grace? Enjoy.
Description : this is my longest track to date. i'm looking for some great advise, cause i think i went a little overboard. so please tell me how to fix it.
Description : This one is a bit odd, and continues my obsession with organs. I originally wrote it on a Baldwin Fanfare Organ, but then transferred it to sequencing and added some phat bass. I think it's got a nice flow to it, how about you? From the Spivkurl album "Strong Like Squirrel."
Description : this is how i felt as a kid when school ends and you run out the door to summer
vacation in the form of a song
Description : This is the flip side of my music, which is often criticized for too many melodies, sometimes even of sounding like a mix of two songs. But I still consider it my better stuff. I appreciate the feedback thus far and hope to get more you. Let me know what you think, and i will respond. Also, if you have some tracks you would like me to listen to I would be glad to, and comment only if it fits my realm of music. Otherwise, would just be guessing. Enjoy this and thanks again.
