Description : my attempt at a cinematic piece. has some electronic elements because it was inspired by the daft punk song solar sailer from the tron soundtrack. it turned out way longer than i want it. the full version is about 14 minutes so i cut it short and lowered the quality to fit on looperman. please leave critical reviews of what i have so far. thanks. 70bpm

Description : One of my better tracks. Also CHECK ME on LoOpErMan.com (LOOPERMAN.COM)This track was made start off with the bass line out of sync. Then I found a really nice electronic Carbon kit for the drums, added some effect on the drum, then topped it with one or two takes on the piano.
To finish I'd like to add some live flute, but my studio is now temporarily out of action as some new purchases are on there way, and I'm relocating.

Description : UPDATE 26/01/2014: Improved loads of things in what is probably my greatest chillout alternative blues piece. Ambient, ethereal, groove-based delta slide blues. Contemplative and melodic. Multiple, layered , sometimes shimmering resonator guitar parts with solid, warm synth bass, an ethereal bed of pads (which are actually guitars) and second electronic drumkit to contrast the acoustic kits. I thought this was perfect a few years ago but it wasn't (and still isn't). Now has clearer drums and lots of small awkward bits of guitar have been trimmed. Quite a minimalistic and short piece for me - I don't just keep bringing in new instruments, as I usually do. This should really chill you out...

The bass drum is not sharp but it's hard pounding. I also really enjoyed the idea of using the buzz instrument as the pads & main melody. When I was coming up with the melody, I already knew that I wanted to go for the buzz sound. The combination of the buzz melody & reverb really gives it that magical up in the air feel. My inspiration for the melody came from listening to tiesto's epic song - Kaleidoscope. My favorite part of this song is the hang time & the main breakdown.
