Inspiration: My niece Miranda Hallowes for telling me to get this song together & naming Major X Treme...The famous Brian Plummer for saying it can't be done (you have to know his sense of humor to understand that one) Paul Hutzler for coffee support which I think i needed....this was a fun colab... 3 rockin guitar players pickin on this one I think.....one of hottest bass players on the planet...that is to say if someone was to asked me....heheh...Thxs to all my friends for all the support on this project...All of us hope you enjoy Major X Treme

Description : I just don't make hip hop beats, but am also a lover of dramatic type music too. I took a piece of the sound track 300 and added the drums. If you want to add more to it feel free because it was hard and i had no other ideas for it.

Description : well here`s a little diddy bozmillar from audioforums did, i wrote the lyrics and did the leadvox and BGV`s, the ladies at the beginning are from Eastwests Quantum Leap Voices of Passion, Boz plays a Jay turser SG Knockoff into guitar rig, drums were Ezdrummer, Music was mixed in Sonar8 and vocals were mixed in Sonar7P.E.

Description : Reload (12-16-08) This has to probably be 1ne of the smoothest tracks that I've done. Got that chill vibe on it. If you ain't down with smooth then don't waste your time on this 1ne. Description : Here's my most recent track, which was finished a couple days ago. I'm very proud of this one, primarily because all of the sounds come from one instrument. I did a 15 minute session recording my circuit bent talking computron toy onto my reel to reel. Then I recorded that to my computer, and chopped one shot glitches from the session. I left the glitches pretty much as they were, with no enveloping. Got drums, bass, synth, and vocals all from that. I think it sounds pretty good considering. From the Spivkurl album "Circle, Full Circle."

Description : This is a rockin Christmas tune to the song 'Ding Dong Bells',,, or something like that.
Was easy to make.... Just Guitar, Drums, Bass, and the Tubular bells and Choir sound from my keyboard.

If this gets mixed into the Chrismas CD then it definately would be Alternative style. :)

Description : This is part one of The Movement (instrumental) Drums & bass parts are real everything else were samples.
I wrote this as a five minute piece but ended up breaking it up into two parts.

Description : Well....here is a tune I have been working on for about 2 months. The first part is basically country music, featuring Dobro, Fiddle, Piano, Pedal steel, Banjo, Harmonica and Flat pickin' Acoustic guitar with pull-off's- hammer-on, etc.

The second part of this tune is pure Cajun music straight from the bayou's of Lousiana, featuring Accordion and Fiddle.
Since I couldn't find any royalty free Accordion Cajun music, My friend Chris Miller from Lake Charles, LA, let me use part of one of his tunes so I could finish this project.

In return, I gave him all rights to use this whole song on his next CD if he wants to. (He won the 2008 CFMA award this year).
On this tune I am not playing the drums, fiddle, harmonica or Accordion (All those from loops). But I am playing all the rest of the instruments. I didn't put a lot of 5-string banjo in as I am a little rusty on that. Maybe next time. :-)

The song may be a little bass heavy for some as I geared it toward computer speakers more.
So if you like this type of music, put on your knee high boots, give a listen, and dance away.

Description : This is one of the first tracks i made as the Acrylic Soundscape Experiment. I was experimenting with different plugins and this came out, it grooves in the middle when the drums get moving. Description : a very negative positive title don't you think? I used all looperman loops again on this one, i mastered it to death, went over it almost a few hundred times on levels and equalization, I've now become very familiar with finalmix 16 band comp mixer. i think this is the most obscure of my tracks, it contains soft ambient guitar melodies, breakbeat drums, beatboxing flute, a beautiful melodic piano, and a funk bass sound. It's a very diverse track so i didn't know what genre so i fut fusion since it may just be true fusion music.

Description : This is a brand new song, built around the dulcimer loop, I've tried to combine a rock beat with an ethnic melody, upbeat drums and heavy guitars mixed with tablas, bongo's and a sitar sample along with the dulcimer loop. I used Magix Music Maker to record everything, I played the guitar parts, the rest was created using various loops and samples. Any comments/feedback would be much appreciated, thanks.

Description : This is a 'Bo Diddley' type rhythm tune. The drums are loops. The rest is me.
Took awhile to put this one together. In playing the faster lead parts...I had to practice them at half speed to get the chops down, and recorded them at an octave lower. Then when put back in at regular tempo, they came out fine. (Just a little trick)

Description : A Genre Spinner... sort of old school hair band metal, with a Hip Hop type of Bass Groove. Fusion of Electronic and Acoustic Drums.

I pulled out my Guitar for this one.

No Vocal Tracks yet. Any ideas for vocals styles welcome at this point. Could go down several directions with this on.

The break down at the end of the track changes feel around the 2:10 mark. Even the style of guitar work. The lead was improved at the end, and could be a little stronger.

Description : A smooth track that I threw together with 2 E-Piano's and some other stuff. After I listened to it a couple time it kinda reminded me of what a New-Age LL Cool J "I Need Love" would sound like. I realized that the drums were a little bit Reggeatonish after I listened to it too.
