Description : Here is a trak in progress. So obviously, I enjoy playing over top of LM loops. I will look up who made this drum loop. As you might hear, I really like some of Joy Divisions guitar work believe it or not.
I also fell in love with using ring tone modulators after hearing Jeff Beck use them.
I would like to collab on this one to fill it out a bit. Contact me if you are interested in working on it.
I'll also post the guitar traks to see what others can come up with using the guitar loops.

Description : Gloria a Dios y gracias por los dembows!
Praise God and thanks for the loops!

This is my first full-length reggaetn beat, made with dembows (a type of drum loop) exclusively from looperman users. I have a few original dem-bows but I thought I'd try some of the ones I got here.

In general, I'd say this beat is decent, nothing too elaborate (like the cool stuff I'm into like fusions with hip hop or other Latin genres) but overall a decent beat. 2 melodies and 4 different loops. Anyway check it out and let me know what you think OK?

Description : This is an R & B home demo. I used a guitar loop and drum loop from looperman.com in this track.

All vocals and strings were performed by me.

Description : I linked my mom this song and she said I should name the track after her. Formerly [untitled].

Oboes are fascinating. I wrote this piece around an oboe loop I made when I was bored.

The oboes are a soundfont with about 200 staccato notes and a sytrus synth. The trumpet is from a similar soundfont bank, all short staccato bursts. Beats are a sliced orchestral dum kit I arranged by hand and an orchestral kit from PC51d soundfont. The strings are two sytrus voices and DSK Stringz. The plunky pads are sytrus ambient pads. The piano is a DSK Akoustik Keyz. The tenor sax is another DSK voice.

Most of the parts were played on a MIDI keyboard while recording the input. Minor tweaking and cleaning up, scaling note levels and such, but it's mostly natural playing. I used no loops I didn't create for the track (other than a drum loop I sliced into individual hits and used as a kit).

The track has no reached the "done-ish" phase (it has an ending, a rarity for my tracks). Any recommendations on what needs tweaking would be appreciated.

Description : This is a new one that has me on electric guitar, a big band sample that I got from SampleSwap.com a while back, has some horn hits and a nice 6/8 jazz drum loop. Makes me think of being in one of those smokey bars in like 1974, with the red pleather booths and a secret room in the back where Vinnie 'Thumbs' and the Bartelli boys...ya know...play a little cards and whatnot...but mostly whatnot, heh.

Description : i made the keys (which im quite proud of) first then i used FPC for the drum loop and then added extra bass and an extra layer of keys to enhance the sound. both the keys are seperated one on the left the other on the right.
on top of them i added my own Hi-Hat and Delayed snare.
This was a solo effort and i was using Fruity Loops 7xxl.
The FPC is a drum kit that came with FL so i used it for the main beat.

Description : UPDATE - Newer Version.

Just something that came to me as I sat down to write a song. I like how it turned out. I surprised myself with this one.

Bass and drum loop are from fellow Loopermen, just can't remember who, so if they are your's - awesome loops and props to you!

Enjoy!

Description : I got a hapi drum two weeks ago and can't stop playing it. Unfortunately, it's a not easy to mic...

Laid down a quick drum loop and piano that slams on random notes from the pygmy scale, then just jammed for awhile. Things aren't slammed on beat; I did a lazy align, but it really just needs to be recorded again.

Description : this my fav track making , i think its more funky house than just house but.........wth !! , i got fatboy slim sample pack so that where the vocal sounds where from i think the drum loop is from here,anyway............enjoy

Description : I found this nifty drum loop here on loopsville, sort of drum machine/dance sound and built this whole instrumental around that. I put this track in Rock, but it has other infuences in it. bit of blues and dance maybe. not sure if this works but its rock experiment No.3

Description : DNB- unfinished jungle jump. slow warping bass line with a mad drum loop I downloaded from HMNN. then into the bass stabs and riff rolls. see what ya think. criticism welcome :)

Description : middle eastern and orchestral strings set to danceable beats and some wierdness. If you're into Secret Chiefs 3 you'll understand why I named it after them. i'm wondering if the first part goes on too long before the first major change (when the orchestral stuff kicks in) I'm new to this and would LOVE some feedback. No one has heard this stuff but my girlfriend. Don't be afraid to give harsh criticism. I want to get better and acting would not be my profession if I had a problem with criticism. As far as the production of the piece, it's all loops. The weird, glitchy, sound that seperates the different parts of the track i made by just looping a half second of a drum loop. as far as the creativity part, i basically go by the theory that these pieces already exist. I just have to let them come out. I just trust my gut and really try to not think about anything too much. A lesson learned from acting.

Description : I used 2 perc loops a drum loop and a few scratch samples.. Whoever made the tnrg puzzle scratches (if i got them from here) you freakin RULE!! I also used Huckins Reese Vst, props to you on that man, nice vst.The rest is me on the Predator and I did some layering for the loops. I'm having problems getting the bass and sub tones to cut through the mix like i want..any advice?

Description : Another Older track of mine But I guess It's new to looperman. I played all the keyboards on this tune. The Drum loop was created in magix. I also used the Radio Shack Md1800 to record the Piano parts. The other Synth parts were created using the Vst in Magix.

I guess this tune describes how we all might feel some times, that lonesome sad and trapped feeling of 'Just Existing.' It's good I don't always feel that way. I believe we are all here for a purpose. Sometimes we just don't always know right away what that is.

Description : The title refers to a critique on Christianity I read in one of Dawkin's books. As our knowledge of the world increases, the things science can't yet explain (the places god is the only explanation) shrinks. This is why the Church tends to be anti-science, because it is effectively the enemy of a god of the gaps. I'm not trying to proselytize this particular viewpoint; I just thought it would be a cool name for a track [and it was on my mind when I first started writing it].

I'm using a chillout drum loop with mild slicing for the basic beat. The lull is a simple animated LP filter. I'm using a few biohazard channels (the ping sounding lead, the high pitched backing that changes sound, that intro effect), some sytrus strings (the strings, the other backing), a few FL Keys channels (the piano, detuned piano, detuned bassline), and, new to this version, a recording from my Roland EM-10.

I wrote it while on a road trip from Orlando to Denver (~30 hours in the car, and I only got to drive like five of them) and on a flight home from Denver > Houston > DC. I spent some time hiking in the mountains with the refrain stuck in my head, and most of the development came out of the echoes around my headspace. Colorado is a beautiful state.
