Listen To A Radiant Death Fusion Song By Alividlife | Looperman

Description : This needs a lot of work... I am working on it.
This is a track that I have been working on for about 6 months, maybe more,.... the ideas behind it go back for years.
It is hundreds of channels of audio and real live samples, some by KJ Sawka (the drummer from pendulum) and a lot of my own.
I am trying to mix Metal and Drum and Bass, two very very different genres, but both very compatible.
tempos are almost exact.
But anyway, I need to re-master this some more, but it's still pretty killer.
I hope you like it, and if you don't ctrl+x yourself.

Description : This track is built around the repetitive lead guitar line which I have previously incorporated as an intro for the rocker track "Sweetheart Runner" by LM user TinyFinger whom I have helped in arranging, mixing and producing his song. This extended session was a good oportunity to test some new equipment....Thanks to Tiny for not being mad about it...:)^^

Description : Now also on Apple music!! Please please check the link in my profile and give it a play! (Spotify to follow soon). And if you do that, let me know if I can repay the favour!
================
The song feels to me a bit like it could be on stage in a musical. It's a bit theatrical... I like it, but the next one might well be a rock song ;)
All instruments & vocals recorded live at home, without samples.

Description : Hello, everyone!
This one is a bit special because it's not one of my loops, it's jdmax121's loop " Dreamy ".
I loved it so much that I had to make something out of it. It will probably end up being on my upcoming EP.
If you liked it, or not, please let me know!
Have a nice day.
Ps: Here's the link to the loop https://www.looperman.com/loops/detail/97021/jdmax-dreamy-by-jdmax121-free-100bpm-chill-out-electric-guitar-loop

Description : Psychedelic Eastern cellhop progressing into a heavy and not at all hip hop ending. Lots of cool basslines and killer beats, all at 80 BPM. Cello is the main instrument and it also covers all the bass parts (no other bass instruments used). I didn't have to add any octave lowering effects to those cello basslines. A few synths, including a dark, trippy pad that gets very psychedelic and swirling when delay and distortion are added. Also a lyre to occasionally add an Eastern drone sound and an 8bit lead sine synth in one section. Drums are mixture of programmed acoustic kits and drum loops. You can really bounce to this shit while firing your guns in the air. So, do that and then come back and let me know if you enjoyed it. Criticism, praise, suggestions etc all welcome. Now get ready to bounce...

Description : Return To Forever was a group that started my love of fusion jazz and this is my attempt to cover their 1976 track, “The Romantic Warrior. I know I wore out several inceptions of this album from LP, cassette and 8 track. The original track was over 10 minutes long, so I abridged it some. Hope you like and download.
Seriously though, to me, this is definitely one for the books. I really, really, really enjoyed listening to this, and it has inspired me to reach past the friggin stars and reach for whatever is beyond those.
Before I get seriously philosophical and start to ask myself if there is indeed anything beyond the stars, I'll just go ahead and this review with: thank you for the inspiration. You're too legit to quit.
I really dig that man... Yeah.. for me.. It's more important that I ... well to plainly put it... "F*CK SH*T UP" at all costs... either that... or I am just having fun...
If those two things aren't happening when I make music than I have found things to be listless exercises in sound.
I mean.. I have been making music for ages bro.. and that's good and all.. but I like it when I actually feel something.. you know?
I write a song a day, but at large most of it never gets heard... But this was an act of futility.. an act of ... RAGE.
Pushing against all the "laws" we supposedly adhere to .. (almost) religiously towards music.
I think it definitely came down to melting as many faces possible while not bleeding too much all over my guitar at the same time. xD
ftw.
Yet another costume change from the famous alividlife
A very cool track if i ever heard one, love the intense guitars and the blended in Dub bass :)

Bro, damn.....damn.....
damn o.o
This is PUMPED
Its so clean and crazy at the same time.
I freaking love it man, seriously. Its such a trip for the ears n mind.
GREAT WORK!!
The reason the third point contradicts the first two, well especially the second, is because this is an example of how it SHOULD be done. When I say I'm not a fan of people mixing dubstep/dnb with metal, I don't mean I'm against the "concept" of it. That would just be silly and close minded. What I am against is the mostly horrific execution, because 99% of these mash-ups take the worst, most base aspects of both genres and just throw them in a blender with no sense of how they fit together....something which you, thankfully, have not done, and this is why I liked this.
As far as specifics go - the drums are insane, the riffs are all over the place in a good way [ie it never comes close to becoming monotonous] and sound great, and the mastering sounds fine to these ears. The only thing I missed was a sub to hold up the DNB end of a dnb-metal combination, but then I can't imagine if there was any room for that...or my headphones just didn't pick it up.
Glad to see someone helping Dad (Metal) and Mom (DnB) see the divorce wasn't really necessary.
both of them, haha.
Glad I did. This is epic. My computer starts to puke when I have more than 24 or 25 tracks cooking at one time. If I gave it 100 it would commit electronic suicide....
On that note, all I can say about this one is WOW...WOW...WOW!!!!
You are the man.
Bear
Even despite these claims of "art".. I can't find my heart in it at times, and it breaks it into a thousand pieces... I suffocate under that weight of loss.
_C-DUB_
where'd you get that vocal from?
it works really well in the back ground almost like a bassline mid ...ya know?
very nice... breakdown at the outro...
kool track brother...keep 'em coming
I always feel that.. like bastardized kinda chortle... HAhasha I MADE EVERYTHING IN THIS!
But ultimately, after doing I still feel empty. There's no point lol
