Great tune man, I have a track called the so it was a no brainer to hear what yours sounded like. I really enjoyed this, its kind of funny how person can have a song title and it be so different. Nice job and thanks for sharing.

I like some of the modern country music. As a kid, I learned to play with my dad...playing Hank Williams Sr. stuff (the father of country music). I think the thing that took away that country sound I was looking for in this song is the VST drums, which 'are not' country. Anyway, good hear from you, and glad you enjoyed it. I guess its mostly the lyrics and vocal range, but I always seem to play this song to my self whenever I pick up the acoustic.
You must be enjoying BC at this time of the year - I was born in Van, cheers! JB

I'm not sure if it's country or not. To me it's a wonderful pop song, and I love this sound of the 60:ies. You've taken it to the edge where the all the sounds demands attention. I like this.
Take care

Emann replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

Always great to hear from you, Kikajon, and as usual can't sneak anything passed ya - it's the drums, they're not exactly 'country.' Respect, J.B.

wow, man - this is such a great re-vision - it's like hearing a road band perfect a track night after night in crazy dives - i think you nailed it but i wouldn't be surprised to hear even better - it's that kind of music that really lives every time it's played - double fav

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
great perf to match the great lyrics and songwriting - a biting bittersweet slice off a life - much respect and appreciation!

Emann replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

thank you very much Michael, really appreciate you're comment. The song is very special for me, too.
