Oh, Yeah! Vocals are nice. I recognize that beat from Psychotropic. Great work.

DjDutcher 10th May 2011 22:38 - 15 years ago

Sound awesome especially the piano! The accapella realy fits in.

Peace.

johnnygadget replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

thanks man i appreciate the review! funny thing is with this Capella i placed the Capella after i made the track ! a match made in heaven! CC mixter is the origin ! thanks again!

Bioscape 2nd Jun 2010 15:36 - 16 years ago

Cool arrangement. I really like the vocals and the harmonies. I think its kinda missing some bass drum and snare parts and a bassline to take it to the next level. But cool piano parts, they wrapped around the vocals well.

johnnygadget replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

thanks man i am glad you liked it! what makes this special in my opinion is I made the track and then went and looked for an a Capella to fit the track i was amazed how well it went together!

Wow that is such a tight thing to happen, dog! lol It sounds really great. The song reminds me of stuff I made with my first band called The Searching. It was just me and a piano player. We would just jam and I'd make up random lyrics to his tunes. It was great fun. Nice job!

Artwatcher 4th Jul 2008 11:56 - 18 years ago

This is fantastic. I got chills when I read that the tract was done before you found the vocal. How is that possible? (eerie music paying in the background) Best of the best. Checked out the links too.

Great piano! My favourite in your tracks. I love the atmosphere you've created, and her smoky voice fits wonderfully like, well, like glass slippers for Cinderella.

johnnygadget replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

attempt to work with an acapella I was suprised it turned out so well thank's again Ria!

Yeah a cool mix..I love female vocals..they exist in that special harmonic area where emotive response is assured....crazy backbeat to.....it fits in with the goanna like the proverbial.....sweet!...cheers planet

johnnygadget replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

Thanks planet I thought I would try something different than my usual off the wall! this one is a little more contemporary, hard to believe the
track was done before I added the vocals!
Thanks brother!

Description : I'm gonna file this under Drum and Bass due to the beats I used. Though it's probably not DnB in the strictest sense of the word, as it starts off with a Cinematic vibe till the beats kick in (apologies for that, as I don't have a vast knowledge of DnB!). Apart from the beats and a couple of other loops, all synth/bass parts are played by me using ThornCM, Poly Max and Z3ta+ vst's. Let me know what you think? All feedback is always appreciated. Thanks.

Description : Technology is a great thing. But I'm glad to know that if it ever fails ... or simply isn't there ... I can always play my guitar or drums, or just sing. In any case, the power didn't go out during this production ... so it's electric. And eclectic.
