The Swarm - Sketch

Hey mate,
The synth treatment where I am now (@around 3:20) really does the name justice. So do the Guitar stuff ya had too.
Normally when I see that name I think of a bunch of angry Bess, but in this case it could be a number of things.
A Bird's Eye view of a ground battle.
A bunch of people running to escape a tidal wave.
And the length is really fitting for D&B...

Okies, play two= The drums at first kinda remind me of retro synth pop type of stuff. And the way you've got the synth and the percs interacting is choice.
Though again, I'd love to hear the Bass accentuated more (possibly even solo'd,).

To everyone else- yall really should listen to this with a subwoofer to do it any justice!

THAT was your 1st time with FL!? Damn man, my first beat in FL was like something a child (a very dumb child at that!) made. Good job.

this track is ok... could be a little bit better idk... but i dont like the kick too much but other then that i think its an ok track

But good stuff mate, like the synth at around 1:50 the guitar goes sort of well... beats are nice at the beginning, they are lost in the hi hats later though. Needs quiet a bit of eqing and mixing, but other than that very imaginative and creative. well done. BTW this is a mix of genres but nice try for your first DnB track ^.^

Very good for a first song, I am liking the changeups. Do you have any experience with other programs prior to FL? It puts my first fruity loops song to shame.

nice tune are you using fpc for the beat?
because i find the fruity slicer much better just put a beat in the slicer but still phat tune m8

Not really into Drum n Bass but sounds like a pretty decent effort for your first go,fruity loops is an excellent program,I thought you jumping around a bit much without sticking to a particular theme,I really liked the intro though that was quality.But I'm not a drum n bass expert!

More like trance with that lead, you need more bass. Check out my track called "Fatal Syntax Error" for a better idea how DnB sounds.

i can dig it, it was good net surfin music :P.. i cant realy give any feed back though because i have like now bass on this machine (my main daw machine is staying offline from now on)
