Description : EBM song from my electronic industrial project tentatively titled 'Project X'. the programming and mix are just about done, imo, but i'm at least adding a layer or 2 of vocals and perhaps some guitars. this is the first public screenings of this project, so please offer whatever critism you feel is in order.
thanks for the review, i really appreciate the praise=) every now and then i try to find elements to mix together that shouldn't really work, heh. so i'm glad that you find the song interesting. i'll keep you posted as the song develops. thanks again!
hey, man, thanks alot for the praise=) i find myself having some trouble about how to categorize songs like this one, heh. this one is one my personal favorites too and i hope the finished version doesn't let you down.
Well for one i love the names of your tracks. People usually dont say much about it but if i like a title im gonna tell ya. And all your titles really make me want to listen to it. Now back to the music. I was a little afraid in the beginning, wondering if it was gonna be like that the whole time. And dont get me wrong it was good but not something that could stay that way. Once it kicked in i was very pleased. Then it slowed back down and so on and so forth. It was excellent. Great job and keep up the good work! -Gabe
ya know, you're right, no one really mentions things like song titles. i do try to give the songs interesting names and i'm glad that they've had an effect. i guess deep down, i title tracks in a way that i'd like to see and get drawn in by. that's cool that you were surprised in how the song evolved, it wasn't a conscience thought. yeah, i was really happy how the ebb and flow in this song brought itself to the fore. i'm glad you like where it's at right now, hopefully you'll find the finished version just as kickass=)
Wow, this sledgehammer bass drum blows me away!
Very well done! After listening to some of your tracks, I recognized, that you're somebody who composes his tracks using his brain, developing thoughts.
thanks for the compliment, man! ya know, one of the things i love about composing, especially electronic based music, is you can find a balance between thinking through what works for a track and just letting go and letting the music work itself out. then at the end of the day, you take the whole thing and try to piece it together to maximum effect. i believe in emotional music and it's no use trying to force it, you'll just end up with mush. i really appreciate the compliments, man, i'm gonna work on getting some more tracks finished and online.
Bangin track bro..lovin the synth work.the subtle break at :25,the build up to the outbreak at 1:22,the change ups at 3:16 and 4:04 all fit together very nicely.cant wait to here it with vox and guitar.im thinkin the guitar is gonna give it a helluva edge.great work soo far-keep it going.
thanks for the review! i'm glad you enjoy the synth work, this was a fun track to program and write. i'm going to probably end up beefing up the drums a touch when i introduce the guitars. the guitars have become a real interesting aspect of this track, since i'm trying to find a unique approach in my chord selections to give it a 'helluva edge' but also to do kind of what i did with the programming, meshing sounds and melody in a very perpendicular fashion, if you follow me. i hope it all turns out well, heh. thanks again!
thanks for the review. i'll definitely give the tip about the drums a try. i usually compress the hell outta my drums, but i think with this track, i didn't mix them high enough because they interfered with the synths. and since it's just a rough mix, i didn't bother fine tuning everything enough to make it work. thanks for the kind words.

This is my latest, but also one of my earliest tracks.... any feedback is more than welcome, thanks :)
Description : 'The main point of this song is really about the frustrations of living in the overload of today's World of Tech. The consequences are impaired communication and that if you advance too far you end up diminishing what you had to start with, so you are way worse off.' Enjoy a 60s Rhythm with a modern deep Bass, a Sitar, a Piano from EvilPianist, a lost flute from UniverseHuston and some Oscillators :-)

Description : A demo of one of my current projects. The chorus vocal sounds like "Aaaaraashe" to me. The song is in C# minor with a nod to C# pythagorean on the chorus. The beat on the verse was inspired by the Peter Gabriel song Intruder.
Description : This is one of my earliest productions that I did at the start of my recording career. I did not have a keyboard at the time I made this song, so I improvised and used my sister's iPad and a 5 dollar GarageBand application instead, and plugged the headset jack into into my PT6 rig and did my best to turn each individual track (which were mono and there were about 25 tracks or so) into a stereo image. Then recorded vocals over it. My computer was so old and slow that I had to mix my music and then BOUNCE it to a new session - four times. My computer (which had 512 MB RAM and an 80 GB hard drive) couldn't handle more than 8 tracks at a time or it'd stop working because the processor couldn't handle it. Took me FOREVER to do. But I got it done. Had a lot of fun doing it too, even if it isn't my "best" work. I'm still happy with it, considering I didn't have many tools to choose from at the time.
Description : Long time lurker first time poster, pretty new to production n stuff, this is my first track in Ableton Live.
was going for a darkwave/synthwave sound, reminiscent of Justice, Carpenter Brut, Perturbator, ect.
Looking for some feed back, constructive criticisms or even just your thoughts if you liked it or not. This is just a rough cut on this current WIP, just the bones of it if you will.. If you have some cool title suggestions, would love to hear those too.
Thanks for listening.
