Top Out - Bennymc

Name: Top Out
Duration: 355 s

Description: Originally a small idea until a friend insisted I finished it. I've not made many dance tunes (or many tunes altoghter for that matter :P) so I had a bit of fun making this one. Compiled using various samples in FL9 and VST's such as FL Slayer, Refx Nexus and Refx Vanguard. Have a poke and let me know what you think. All critcisms welcome.

hey Benny, haven't heard much from you since you posted that jigawatt thing long time ago (I still play it and it makes me smile). I like this one. You should make more tunes. I like your style.

I find it wierd but nice that you've come back to my profile. Thanks for the comment and you should be hearing a bit more from me now as I've got a new computer that can handle just about any amount of vst's at the same time lol.

Cheers

wicked track, heavy but smooth, fat lead sound, I guess thats the slayer.... I dont have FL so am assuming thats it. The beat is proper driving too, love it!!

nice banging track, ahhh yes the slayer, i'v thought about using it once, but i guess it needs to have the right kinda vibe, and this track deffinatly has the vibe! transactions are so smooth they are noticable but subtle, which is spot on!
nice track all round, faved fo sure!

As if you faved it?! nice one man. Thanks for the comment.

...gotta love that slayer..i think all of us FL users would know that sound even if a nanosecond of it was played lol. and you used it in a really stylish and creative way. not only setting up a melody, but then using the stabs as almost a percuss element [plus, you know a crowd would go wild when they heard the daftpunk-esque melody come out in that changeup]. this is such a spirited track. lots of elements, all working in perfect harmony. wicked fun...
awesome work!

Description : For some odd reason, the titular acapella I used for this remix had vanished from Looperman. Luckily, I saved it before it disappeared.

Anyway, props to Stephanie Kay for this acapella! I've always wanted to remix Stars Collide, but I never got around to finally making a good instrumental for it. The acapella was akin to that of Genki Rockets' work (ESPECIALLY the lyrics), so I tried to retain the same vibe. Enjoy!

Description : This is a worship song celebrating God's beautiful creation, unfailing grace, and boundless love. It reflects on the sacrifice of Jesus Christ, the gift of salvation, and the light of God that shines even in the deepest darkness. It is a reminder to rise each day with gratitude and give praise to the One who saves, guides, and sustains us.
