Description : The big both advantage and disadvantage about being so new to this medium for making music is that I don't know genres very well. It can be confusing at times not knowing what to call my songs... but it also frees me of constrictions when I'm creating cause I'm not mentally telling myself "HEY you can't do that!!" So anyway... here's my new track. It was all done with VSTIs aside from the beat (which came from Breakbeat Paradise) I even got brave and composed a solo (a first for me) and did my basslines etc from scratch. Even if everyone that listens to this hates it lol... I feel very accomplished right now mainly because I've learned so much since I first opened Acid Pro. I am living proof that anyone with a stubborn streak and love for music can at least ATTEMPT these programs ;-) The lyrics came from life experience... suppose it's kinda the flipside of my last track.

Thanks very much :) I'd say I probably listened to more 90s stuff than anything else so maybe that's why? Thank you for listening, I'm glad you liked it :) ~Lisa

ROFL I actually found it easy peasy. I guess because I was used to using Adobe Audition for my vocals and the layout is somewhat similar for the tracks it made it easier. Thanks for listening, glad you liked it!

LOL you know, I've been singing all my life... my mom can remember me at 2 singing "I'm not Seesaw... my name is Joooie" along with my record player and a Jessi Colter 45. It took me til 32 to sing in public and not feel scared... but it's been a slow progression confidence-wise. Getting there ;) Thanks for listening gizz, glad you liked it :)

Love the vocals. Wish I could sing. Genre's are for bean counters and list makers, not artists. Keep doin what you're doin.

LOL if you ever want me to try adding something to a track let me know. People have asked me to upload acapellas but I have issues with randomly singing phrases... generally if I sing something it's in some sort of context, you know? I've added vocals to people's tracks before though, it's fun :) Thanks for listening, glad you liked it! Lisa

    and that's what it's all about ....
your skills grow incredibly fast ... so I'm another one who can't wait to hear your next creations!!!

I couldn't leave your page til I'd listened to it all lol. I was sending my fiance your tracks as well, he's as impressed as me. Thanks for listening, I'm glad you liked this. I think honestly I'm learning fast because I want so badly to get my full input on a song, not a half assed version of what I want it to sound like. It's hard sometimes to get things from my head to people's ears... and learning more about the program is allowing that :) Thanks for the nice review. Lisa

This takes me to a time when I was listening to Black Sabbath and some of their great ballads.A lot of people think they can hold up a song, believe me you can!!!You could easily front a big sound band.....and rip it right up.Your getting better and better.....That voice has power chorus written all over it!......I concur with oetloek this is great, more please.....cheers planet

I'm hoping maybe someday I can gig, even if it's locally. Right now it's not in the cards because I have to get myself into a situation where my schedule is more mine... but I appreciate that you feel I am capable. My confidence has grown a lot since I started singing in public.. and it's people like you that have helped that. Thanks :) Lisa

Description : The tangled skein of life permeates all creation, binding the known to the unknown. This track, in its own subtle way, attempts to convey that.

Description : Just like the first EP "OGOU", this production focuses on organic elements with drum samples. It contains modern sounds such electronic down-tempo, future bass, and hip-hop, which makes the music sound old and new at the same time. With heavy sampling of African chants and sound generated from other tribes, this is production will bring more flavor and enjoyment--it's like Africa to your Ears.

Description : After a major uphill battle completing this song and turning it into what it is now, I feel some amount of satisfaction. It was like reality wanted me to give up or something. It's done... phew... Have updated this almost completely, from repatching the modular bass, playing some guitar parts, adding electric piano and synth lead, redoing and tuning the DW-6000 synth, of course adding my vocals, and mixing and mastering. It really has become pretty new wave, like much of my stuff does recently. Have added the lyrics as well. I am proud and happy with it, and I hope you all enjoy listening! UPDATE... woohoo just broke 1000 plays on this track here at looperman!
***original description***
Hey finally here with a new track! I'm not sure what to call this other than electronic, due to the high tempo. This is the first song finished using my interface which allows direct MIDI control of my modular synthesizer. The mid frequency bass part is all from that patch. There are tracks designed with my Zoom RT-123 drum machine, the microkorg, and the circuit bent KORG DW-6000. Other than that it is just a kick and snare drum sample, and a a quick vocal snippet. So I guess it's fairly minimal in that respect. Would like to hear the Looperman community's thoughts on this song! Thank you for listening

Description : Here's another bass-packed, African-flavored track for you to dance to.
My sound is heavily influenced by "Africa." Something about the African influences in the vocal samples and percussion made my heart swell and my feet flicker.

Description : The answer to Close Encounters is Hymn Of The Pleiades. This is a strictly groove track where the elements of ambient meets electronic funk and Hip Hop. Track was recorded, mixed and mastered using Mixcraft Pro Studio 6 software. Results were achieved by using a FATA Studio 90 MIDI keyboard ran through a E-MU Proteus 2000 sound module, - for the phat funky bass synth. I also used a KORG O5R/W sound module for the retro lead synth parts and ambient sound pads.
I utilized what was essentially a old school Hip Hop drum track, arranged and beefed it up for that extra umh! I greatly appreciate all the positive feedback the track has garnered thus far. Keep listening and by all means, your comments are much welcomed... thanks.

Description : This coming from the New Project called, "World Futurism."

it's a production inspired by various tribes like Africa,Asia, North America. And with some heavy bass and synth sound, we got something refreshing to the ears.

I know I have promised a lot you that I will finish it but never did. However, I am for real this time.

Description : This one has a lot of changes. Pretty unique. Lots of dubstep sounds, glitch and other sounds. I always enjoy listening back to it. Throw on some headphones, crank it up, and experience the awesomeness of this epic electronic composition.

Description : I did this today instead of going for a walk in the sun. This is not the final mix, but the idea is there. I'm always looking for voices to collaborate with so if you feel like it contact me

Description : After almost a year, i finally completed a new full song, so i can upload here instead of old tracks. Listening that 'pella was enlighting... a pity Djoctx removed it! For that reason, download is not allowed. So, about enlighting... this is for the Enlinghted One, who's waiting for my new songs! Enjoy!

Description : Electronic blend. Starts off with a wup wup wup wup bass wob, then a rock beat with a bass line, and synths and samples are weaved in. Glitch sounds invade, and dub step robo voices speak up. A sliced up climax tops off the structure. Thank you, come again.
