Description : Here is the re-re-remastered version of the song. This is a Progressive Death Metal song about a certain leader lulling everyone into sleepy ignorance and setting about the end of the world. I play all of the insturments and sing on this recording. I used Magix Music Maker to record the tracks. The drums are layered drum loops. Everything else is a recorded instrument.

Description : I asked Danke if I could add some vocals to his track Future Machine and he kindly agreed and sent me the track. The lyrics are about a soldiers experience in war as he and his trench mates are told to get up and out of their trench and attack the enemy across open fields. I can only imagine the fear, tension and chaos that goes through one's mind at that moment.

Description : I discovered Meshuggah around 2003 and was blown away by the power, complexity and super Heavy sound of their music. Their "Nothing" album marked the switch to 8 string guitars and pushed Heavy Metal into a whole new territory. My track is a variant cover of their song "Nebulous". I have stayed pretty close to the original but added a few dynamic elements of my own. Its loud, its super heavy and way out there...Beyond Nebulous.

Description : My heaviest and most extreme track. Also the first with no synths. Crashing and smashing programmed drums and dirty layers of electric guitar (with a psychedelic, Eastern feel at times). Bass guitar plus a slide resonator guitar solo. No drum loops. Don't play this at your grandmother's funeral. Not unless she was a real headbanger.

Description : A grimy hard rock track fully produced digitally (even the drums!). The awesome main riff has been provided by prodreiter here on Looperman, and I made the drums in Addictive Drums 2, I will make them available as loops later.

Description : Something I slapped together in like an hour or so, I bought a new midi keyboard with a sequencer which made dragging and dropping sounds where I wanted 'em easy, so really this was a test run, I usually write a lot of metal and don't have the time to upload my material but here's a start, this has a techno vibe???? I guess to it. Enjoy.
The guitar is super fricking amazing! I really enjoyed the synths and drums.
My comments are as follows, the vocals are too quite with lots of plosives, and I can not hear the bass line.

Thanks for the review. Vocals are the hardest part for me. The next mix for it will have the vocals raised a little. I wish I could get rid of the plosives. The only way to fix that will likely be to re-record the vocal parts themselves. As for the bass line, there isn't actually any bass in the song. So I really should look at adding one. I am glad that you like what I have so far. I appreciate the feedback you gave. It will help in making this track better. I will check out some of your tunes. Thanks again for the review.
Thanks for the review. I'm glad you like the song. I still haven't figured out how to record vocals very well. I have a Sure Beta 58 mic that I'm running straight into my computers mic jack for the recording. Do you have any suggestions on how I could get it to sound better other than going to a studio?
