Description : Castelul Bran is Romanian for Castle Bran which is located in the Transilvania region of Romania. This was the castle where Vlad Tepes,(the man who was Bram Stoker's inspiration for the story of Dracula) had owned and stayed at for some time.I visited it while vacationing in Romania with my girlfriend in 2007.It really was awesome and impressive! The atmosphere was perfect for our visit! Peaceful and tranquil while dark clouds loomed around till at one point it started raining! It was like in the movies! I made this track in 2008 and as you can see tried to create the feel of tranquility till all of a sudden, the heavens opened up and rain began to pour down fast while being on the top area of the castle! I hope you all enjoy this one! :)

That must've been really cool. In an odd sorta way though. I say odd because I've been to places here in the southeastern US where books & films were set. And a fun bit of useless trivia is- I went to basic at where they shot the movie Stripes. My barracks was right down the road from the ones seen in the film and we'd actually run around them for our APFT (we also ran the same obstacle course they did).
Nuff about that and let's talk about the song now.
This def has a nice open and airy vibe to it (which I'm sure matches the vaulted ceilings of the castle halls). And the combined quality of the fonts ya used give it a cool feeling, that I know is usually present in old brick/stone structures. The bass sequence's steady, almost monotonous nature aides in painting a picture of falling rain striking the ground. The pads are kinda like the echoes of light cast out/down from the lightning. On the tech-side, the only thing I'd suggest at this point in time (since this was done so long ago) is to work on smoothing out that sudden end (make it soft & smooth just like the intro was). Lates!
Hey Man! Thanks for another great review! :) Glad you took the time to check this one out.Hasn't got as much attention as my other tracks.

Yes man your description captured exactly what I was trying to portray in the song and what was taking place! Really glad you could feel all the atmosphere I put into the track! Very good! I agree on what you said about the ending.I got to go work on that ;)
Have a great day and thanks again for your time and nice words! :))
Another first timer review for me :) One of the main things I like about coming into your profile apart from your brilliant tracks, is reading the description that yoou write, good reading and setting for the track you are about to listen too, very good work on this one, great synths, bassline and beat very good, comes across to me as it could fit into trance as well as Genre, fav'd...Peace...Estefano...

Description : Feel free to check out the video on YT as well (Alan McLaren Project - Upside Down) of this 6min journey from electronic to rock with some psychedelic moments...
This is my latest, but also one of my earliest tracks.... any feedback is more than welcome, thanks :)
Description : 'The main point of this song is really about the frustrations of living in the overload of today's World of Tech. The consequences are impaired communication and that if you advance too far you end up diminishing what you had to start with, so you are way worse off.' Enjoy a 60s Rhythm with a modern deep Bass, a Sitar, a Piano from EvilPianist, a lost flute from UniverseHuston and some Oscillators :-)

Description : A demo of one of my current projects. The chorus vocal sounds like "Aaaaraashe" to me. The song is in C# minor with a nod to C# pythagorean on the chorus. The beat on the verse was inspired by the Peter Gabriel song Intruder.
Description : This is one of my earliest productions that I did at the start of my recording career. I did not have a keyboard at the time I made this song, so I improvised and used my sister's iPad and a 5 dollar GarageBand application instead, and plugged the headset jack into into my PT6 rig and did my best to turn each individual track (which were mono and there were about 25 tracks or so) into a stereo image. Then recorded vocals over it. My computer was so old and slow that I had to mix my music and then BOUNCE it to a new session - four times. My computer (which had 512 MB RAM and an 80 GB hard drive) couldn't handle more than 8 tracks at a time or it'd stop working because the processor couldn't handle it. Took me FOREVER to do. But I got it done. Had a lot of fun doing it too, even if it isn't my "best" work. I'm still happy with it, considering I didn't have many tools to choose from at the time.
Description : Long time lurker first time poster, pretty new to production n stuff, this is my first track in Ableton Live.
was going for a darkwave/synthwave sound, reminiscent of Justice, Carpenter Brut, Perturbator, ect.
Looking for some feed back, constructive criticisms or even just your thoughts if you liked it or not. This is just a rough cut on this current WIP, just the bones of it if you will.. If you have some cool title suggestions, would love to hear those too.
Thanks for listening.
