Description : This track has a very low infectious bassline, some thumping beats and I used some rasta/rap style vocals for this.

let me know what you think

hey dude!
awesome bassline =)
just love it!
but im afraid to say that thats the only thing i like.
a totaly awesome perfect bassline gets put in the wrong context.
im sorry to say but please loose the vocals.
and please dont try and compensate with female vocals, you are on the right path with reagge vocals, but use a harder more hardcore raggamuffin vocals, like in the group skindred.
ive listen to your song a couple of times, and the vocals just makes me irritated when the bassline gets chopped up when i hear those vocals. =)
sorry, but its me beeing honest =)
hope you take this as a positive contructed feedback =)

This is great. Love the vocals you used. Perfect for the piece. I also really like its spartan nature.

I kinda like the vox. They don't really go with the style...and kinda go off a little, but I think its really cool, Trax! I like the way the music and the vox follow each other kinda chasing each other in places. And that freakin NASTY synth is sick. Great job

The vocals kinda over do the thing for me.

It is like I am waiting for the vocal rambling to stop

just to hear the music.

nice music tho

Done yourself proud with this one great work. Where did you get them vocals from?
TraXnCtrl
TraXnCtrl replied Unknown - 2028 years ago
thanks for listening and reviewing....I source most of the vocal samples from Computer Music or Future Music Magazines....they usually have different themes on a monthly basis (sometimes not vocals). They are royalty free and cheaper to purchase than stand alone loop packs from stores. They originate from the UK

I will check out some of your work

Hey man heavy riffing on the bottom end..Cool!..I think the vocals are great!..just because it's an Electro tune doesn't mean it can't have a solid vocal presence..the funny thing is the vocals really make this track swing, there's an interesting cross pollination between the audio dynamics and voice, sort of like a call and response thing..if it was expanded with a more prominent chorus and female harmonies inserted you'd have a totally outrageous hit on your hands maybe..lol....interesting and fresh, with that dynamic almost live mix that's becoming your trade mark...great work!..cheers Dave :)

thanks Dave....interesting idea with the female harmonies, I will see if I can find some vocals that match. I have been fortunate enough to be getting some of my work, including this played on Fresh FM from sending in demo discs. They are now playing one or two tracks a week on their FreshAir program (supporting local artists). I hope all is well with you and you have a great 2010
Cheers

Description : Shorten My Days is a deeply personal prayer about examining the true intentions behind our relationship with God. It wrestles with the uncomfortable question of whether we seek Him because we genuinely love Him, or because of what we want from Him and the world around us. It is a plea for God to strip away selfish motives, sustain us through life's battles, and teach us to live in a way that brings glory to His name.
Guitar: Nameless.

Description : 'Main Barbaad Ho Gaya' means 'I got destroyed in loving you'. I had created this track last year. The vocals are AI. However the music and the tune is mine. Hope you enjoy this tragic love track. I was inspired by the Bollywood movie 'Saiyaara' when creating this track.
