Ayyy,...do you think its possible to send me the FLP file? I noticed you offered it to Jahknow so Im assuming you did this with FL studio. Which is what I use so that would be stellar! I usually dont flow but man this track got me thinking and I just had some drama go down that I would like to get off my chest. I like to flow on different beats and this one is perfet for me! 5 outta 5 man!

celestial1157 replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

im down for that homie.
ill post a forum for you to read so i can get your email and send it to you

Spivkurl 26th Sep 2009 18:30 - 17 years ago

I like how you've incorporated the guitars in this track. When the song really gets going, you've got some really cool synths playing. This track is really easy to listen to, and the mix sounds very good. This is not the usual dub, but very enjoyable!

celestial1157 replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

thanks for the kind words man!
and the bassline on this track is the actual bassline on the song, i just had to transpose it myself.
it definitely doesnt sound like my other dub tracks, but thats not necessarily a bad thing :D

jahknow 19th Sep 2009 21:23 - 17 years ago

Pretty schweet. I wanna tweak on them clavichord sounds. Mess with the melody, say pass it back and forth between the clavs and bass line. Go forth dubsters.

celestial1157 replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

if you wanna do some tweakage lemme know and ill send you the mp3 or the FL file

Tiltedbeats 16th Sep 2009 02:47 - 17 years ago

that arp melody @ 1:00 is sweet. very easy listening man.

PEACE!

celestial1157 replied Unknown - 2028 years ago

thanks man, yeah i was originally going for a dubstep feel, but then i decided to change it up and go with an easy listening dub type beat.

Description : I'm gonna file this under Drum and Bass due to the beats I used. Though it's probably not DnB in the strictest sense of the word, as it starts off with a Cinematic vibe till the beats kick in (apologies for that, as I don't have a vast knowledge of DnB!). Apart from the beats and a couple of other loops, all synth/bass parts are played by me using ThornCM, Poly Max and Z3ta+ vst's. Let me know what you think? All feedback is always appreciated. Thanks.

Description : Technology is a great thing. But I'm glad to know that if it ever fails ... or simply isn't there ... I can always play my guitar or drums, or just sing. In any case, the power didn't go out during this production ... so it's electric. And eclectic.
