Description : This is my first track after a long break during which I lacked inspiration and my voice wouldn't do what I was used to.
Most of you know that I sustained serious injuries from a fall. That was nearly a year ago now; my life has changed completely and consists mainly of therapy. Progress is so slow that it doesn't exactly lift one's spirits, and that is part of the reason for my absence. My passion for music is still there, but it's somewhat buried.

Het spijt me te horen dat je
gezondheidsproblemen hebt. Tegenwoordig
lijkt het wel alsof er altijd
wel ergens iets pijn doet.
Ik vind het fijn om je hier weer op LM te zien.

Hi Jynxz .
Its certainly been a while since we last spoke.
Yes, getting older comes with its ailmentswhich is hard enough, though I could reasonably accept that part.
But after a fall outside an airportjust as Id returned from a holiday in SpainI ended up going straight to the operating table. Its hard to accept that the fall would have such a severe and prolonged aftermath.
My passion for music was still there even in the ambulance; after
theyd administered ketamine, I shouted, "Hey, you're playing my beat!" But my daughter later told me it was actually the heart rate monitorlol. Thanks for your kind words and the compliment, Jynxz.

Hello Rita, I will only say this piece of music is so Rita and so well done.....the vocals and the music that I listen to the same classy voice I've heard here so often.....I do wish you progress each and every day in getting back to feeling as good as possible....it can be frustrating I know, but believing in a higher power won't hurt.....he's definitely looking after you.....the song is great and I do look forward to more when you feel the time is right.....god bless you friend.

Thank you for your nice words Glenn.Recoveryto the extent possibleis a very slow process, and the reality is that things will never be the way they used to be; accepting that is very difficult. I hope my inspiration for music returns, because it is the best form of mental therapy for me. Thanks again.
