Digging this too! A little bit of HDU (High Dependency Unit) vibe for me. Album 'Higher' is a good place to start.

BickyStalls replied 14th Oct 2025 - 12 months ago

I've never heard of HDU before. I went and checked them out. At first I didn't really see the similarities, but after a couple of tracks I had that "there it is!" Moment. I'll be looking further into them! Thanks for the suggestion!

I like the dark vibe, it reminds me of some slow 90s metal songs, and also a little bit of grunge and Placebo, nice "pedal" effect

BickyStalls replied 4th Oct 2025 - 1 year ago

The 90s did have some good music. Or at least I think so anyhow. Thanks, Alan.

dimestop 28th Sep 2025 23:26 - 1 year ago

thats a great track the slow build was intense the drums were fire, then the gits burst into life grimy and dirty AF, thats some kiss from the snake a good gritty vocal on this would fly, again tho the guitars are lit guys

BickyStalls replied 29th Sep 2025 - 1 year ago

Thanks, Dime! Maybe someday we'll do some vocals, but for now, just some good ol' rockin' out.

Hello BickyStalls, just gave your track a listen and enjoyed it.....the guitars are awesome and with the effects and percussions makes this very interesting.....nice work my friend

Thank you, Glenn. I'm glad you enjoyed it.

ValveDriver 28th Sep 2025 16:41 - 1 year ago

It's a little muddy on the low end, and the "screech" in the high peaks of the wah effect can be a little harsh in a few spots. Maybe tone back on those a little and notch the 150hz-200hz for the overall mix. Other than that, sounds good!
Take care
V.

Description : I wrote this song nearly twenty years ago, and recently I had it enhanced by AI. The outcome was re-imported into a project where the original and the "new" version were blended to create a cool pop rock track with hints from the 60's. I really hope you will like it.
