Description : Kay - Influenced by memories of Cleo Laine and her own feelings that jazz seemed to be a 'bit of everything happening at the same time', came up with this Idea. Oli used some old fashioned lofi samples and both created this cool moody song and put it through some analog gear to give it some grease. Thanks to GoodSan and Jackruss for the loops and Danmed for his Sax.

What a great track this is! The vocals at points remind me of Erykah Badu. I'm definitely catching a neo-soul vibe. Well, done to the both of you!

Greetings Kaos2! For me what I heard was flawless with absolutely no weakness. But laying technicality aside Its a privilege for me being not only a musician but a listener. You tantalized my ears with this awesome work of art. This is full of heart and soul! An Impressive work for sure. You mentioned in an earlier comment on one of my tracks that you wanted to take on Jazz. The right elements are present plus you mixed in a plethora of other genres as well. Take a bow, I like what youve done.

Excellent, bravo to both of you. You' been working on various genres always with this advanced quality, that captures the very essence of each genre. This is jazz and it is contemporary with respect to the roots of it. I really liked your work.

hi guys, i like your vocal in this Kay there is a lot of confidence in it and its great for vocal stretching too, its always good to see friends stretching themselves Oli is a genius and always delivers the goods, keep up the incredible standards, we must get back to working together again, we've had some big results and my biggest tracks on soundcloud are the ones with you and Oli :) you grow daily Kay and i think your tenacious aslo your pre pared to have a go at anything and your not dissapointing, so long may it continue

Hello Kay.
I don't know if you took a trip down to the crossroads, or what, but over the last few tracks your voice has improved so much! You sound much more relaxed and confident. You're showing a lot more range and ability without sounding uncomfortable.
The track itself is good. I don't know if the scat was a nod to Ella, or just to jazz itself, but I'm going to tell myself it was a nod. ;)
Oli, as per usual, put together a fantastic backing track. The whole thing sounds good, you two!
