i used my experience of tragic loss and how i hid my mental health issues that stemmed from it while writing it, its repetitive but has fresh verses

He never thought in all his life that he'd end up alone in the middle of the Apocalypse, his family dead, doing his best to survive against all odds. The zombies have grown hungrier. More agressive. They have him trapped. There's nothing he can do now.

Description : I intentionally made this song minimalistic. The drums I spliced together from some drum loops I had, there's one other loop in the mix, the rest of the instruments are played by me (bass and synths). I used the excellent (and free) Cakewalk z3ta+ vst and the BBC Symphony vst. My intention was to create a very simple and dream like ambient track. Feel free to download or comment. a friend of mine, who sadly passed away many years ago, was listening to this kind of meditation music all the time. However I was never able to calm me down to produce this kind of slow meditational music for him. Maybe the ADHD thing. However I love this kind of music and very well done! Cheers, Oli
My creation process isn't set before I start, in this case I just began on a simple melody for a pad having some extras at 60 BPM, slowly found instruments and create new parts, no idea what to create at forehand. Trail and Error, the same process I used while programming in the past.
I will tell my nephew...
