Description : The guy who ordered this track didn't pay and doesn't respond to my messages.
So I deleted a private link and decided to upload this track here. The quest was to catch the old-school vibe of detectives of the 50s-60s in the track\loop for 30-40 seconds.
Any way job was done. It is recorded fully live on real instruments, about 3 hours of composing and recording.

Description : Kay - Influenced by memories of Cleo Laine and her own feelings that jazz seemed to be a 'bit of everything happening at the same time', came up with this Idea. Oli used some old fashioned lofi samples and both created this cool moody song and put it through some analog gear to give it some grease. Thanks to GoodSan and Jackruss for the loops and Danmed for his Sax.

Todo el álbum ya está hecho. TodavÃa estoy determinando el orden de las canciones. Pensé en hacer un solo video que sea una reproducción sólida, pero no creo que valga la pena el tiempo invertido, ya que ya existe una lista de reproducción de las canciones del álbum.
De todos modos. Eso es todo para el lo-fi por un tiempo, es hora de extenderse a otros géneros (nuevamente).

I'm used to writing far more complex stuff like this:

I was the low man on the totem pole, even though I wrote it, and had to really step it up on sax and guitar.
I've been forcing myself to simplify, focusing on timbre and white space, which has dramatically increased my production speed (this project took maybe 6 hrs total).
Try the "Rick Rubin" approach for yourself, you may end up with more gratification than the long projects that have to be "perfect."
