Yes! If only Wolfman Jack was a singer, hmmm, lol. You edged him out for sure. Well done! This is all folk music to me. The harmonica and room acoustics are amazing. Sensational songwriting skills.

    Until Tea Time, Cheers!

Wayne, thats a cool lift from boon, rip. songwriting at its finest, man, every time. reminds of when alt-country wasnt just a pose, alas. i love this diamond-in-the-rough.

    Thanks man!

Boon? Not sure who they are or who he is. I didn't go nuts adding guitars, was thinking of some electric, twangy fills but left it more towards the folk/country side of things.

You are a rare talent. When does the movie come out? Any time you can visualize what the vocalist is saying in a production you have a Hit song. Great track. PEACE. T576 OUT.

The movie actually ends with the gunslinger riding off into the sunset, a little bit richer for his efforts. Then a meteor from deep space comes down and squashes him against a saguaro cactus. Song was getting long so I left that part out, lol!

Wayne had to come back, reading your answer to Jynxz, on the harmonica, it was you bro, love the sound of that small instrument, as I do a Jews harp, even more impressed now this listen.

I'm not too good at the harmonica but it's one of those instruments you can fake it till you make it. ;)

    Hello Wayne,
the first song of the day and it left a really big smile on my face. As Robin said: Brilliant. You are so special, so Wayne. I want to see you play in a small smookie bar, you alone on the stage, on a bar stool, with the guitar in your hand and the harmonica in a holder in front of your mouth. Im drinking a big glass of beer, have a cigarette and speak to a nice girl (Hope my wife doesnt read this;) and I hope you dont think something wrong about me, its only a picture Im painting). Big. I love the lyrics and your voice. Everything fits.

    Thanks Matthias!

I stopped playing live back in 2006, bad back and knees slowed me down. I don't miss the smoky bars at all. Also, I won't mention a thing to your wife, ha!

haha nice, love the lyric - six points of view pointed at you, can't argue with that. cracker of a song, yay another humps fix!

I watched D Boon from the Minutemen in a live clip say the line "6 points of view" describing a gun and suddenly a light bulb went off over my head. Figured I could run with that as a premise to a song.

Thanks, glad you liked it, fun one!

    Wow mate,
As my friend, Robin said above"the way it's structured played and the story behind it is an ace man you did it again. Jammy hfjhg"
    Cracking track my friend.
    Well done

Thanks! The story is the main thing here, the music is just a simple blues progression in G.

18/10/2020: holy smoke I hadn't realised what a chaotic mess I had made of the mixing. Cleaned it up to my limited abilities and I guess I'll come back again to it later. Even more thanks for listening!

Description : This is my newest creation, at a stage very near to completion. No third-party mastering or mixing, as with all my tracks. Just have to fix a few tiny things. I FINALLY WAS ABLE TO MIX EVERYTHING IN THE SAME SESSION. This song has all human-played instruments - no quantization or MIDI! My brother does all the vocals except for the interlude part, which I do. My other brother plays the rhythm guitar (a Gibson Les Paul Custom - only one of 12 in the world!!) and I play the accompanying guitar (a Johnny Mar Jag and PRS). He has a lot of guitars :P A good friend of ours, Ronnie, plays the bass and another friend, Freddie, plays the drums. The drum track was done in one take (had to use an electric drum set due to time constraints - but acoustic kits are so much better). Overall, pretty satisfied with the result. Let me know your thoughts.

Description : I wrote this song some time ago when I was living in Florida. It's even more true today.

Vocals by Arthur Granquist, guitar by the great Kevin Lysen, drums by Marc Karmatz, also the recording engineer.

The idea musically was to take some rock and some bluegrass elements, mash 'em up and see what happened.

Every day is a struggle to do better in a crazy world.

Description : Hello Loopies!!!

This song was supposed to be a Bedlam Kids track, but due to the low (none) interest of Pete on continuing that project, I'll upload the remaining tracks as instrumentals as soon as I can.

For now, here's a song written almost 7 months ago, it's called Simple Things.

Hope you enjoy it!!!
