Description : Five years ago I recorded 55 songs with a great singer and guitar player named Sunny War in a five-and-a-half-month fever dream of musical creativity. Now I am finally getting this music up onto Spotify etc. What's taken so long? Damned if I know. Maybe it's all the 5s. Anyway, here we are. This song was too long so I trimmed it down a bit and now I like it better. But very curious what y'all think.

man, moody-##### well-written pop songs like this just can’t come along often enough, so i’m glad to hear the five-year incubation period is over! the 54 have an awaiting fan.

Thank you so much. The funny thing is that I got sidetracked yet again! I bought land near Joshua Tree last summer and have been making a glampground with my daughter and her boyfriend, and what an adventure that has been. But I have continued to work on these songs, even though they're mastered, by cutting down the too-long ones and figuring out the right groupings. Seeing your comment will inspire me to get back to this uploading to the world business and get it done once and for all, because Sunny War is just amazing. She gave me a treasure when we did this work and i should share it with everyone.

Thank you for the comment and the kind words! The other 54 are a panoply of music like the world has never seen. I mean heard. It is worth 5 billion dollars and I'm still hoping to collect. No, actually, I'm still trying to understand it all. Where does this stuff come from? What does it mean? Why was Sunny busking there on Venice Beach when I was walking by? Why haven't I dealt properly with this stuff until now? Mysteries, mysteries... I've posted a bunch of other songs from the Sunny sessions on here as well. If you want to check any out, maybe "The Beast" and "Something to Carry" would be good ones to start with. They're among my faves. Thank you!

Hey there - home from work so a chance to listen - this is a nice pop song - good lyric, vocal and music - it's probably just me but I would like to slow it down a notch - thinking what if it sounded more like eno producing james

Thank you! Sunny is the best, such a great artist and a wonderful experience for me as a songwriter. And I found her busking on Venice Beach, that's the best part.
