What a unique song man, Well done. This is why I hold experimentation in such high regard, it creates such unique stuff. Btw, I noticed your conversation with Mark. Do u need Zenology? I can send you a copy. I also have the entire Cherry Audio Synth Collection (Sines, ElkaX, Dreamsynth, Octave Cat, and more)Id be happy to share them with you, there's a ton of stuff to play around with

Wow! Thank you for the aid and assist.
I stored most of the VSTs that I use most
on a external storage drive, I just had to find
it. I really needed to downsize my VSTs anyway.
400+ VSTs is actually a cry for help, lol I really only
use 40 or 50 of them with any consistancy honestly.
Man, you don't know how great it feels to know that
you would help me re-build my setup. If there is any way
I could help you don't hesitate to ask.

I decided to forego my ancient long list of vsts LOL. I'm just using my subscriptions and I have to get a new zenology. For some reason Slate would only come back as a vst2.

Had to give this another listen after reading your comment...my ears have deceived me...Lol. You played the hell out of it...still sounds like a guitar to me..Lol...haven't used VST's in a long time , currently just using sounds from my keyboards , so not aware of what's out there in the VST world of guitar sounds.....this is really even more impressive to me now.

Now Rob!!!! Now you know the eclectic extra tasty extra crispy delectable high energy and quality I must add Is full on my zone! I even zoomed in on the convo between hood and college LOL!!! I definitely remember this work. But watch out, the remastering / re-editing bug will get you. Especially if you listen to yesterdays tracks with todays ears. Thanks to you, my gotta hear a banger fix is definitely satisfied. Thanks for sharing the very best of what you do!

Mark, just when I thought it was time to come back. I accidentally deleted all of my VST3s doing housekeeping on my computer. I opened Ableton and discovered I only have 5 VST3s out of 417! I've regained consciouness and come to grips with re-building my arsenal. Actually I think I'll be fine, I've mostly been just using Waves, Slate, Ableton and a few other plug-ins that didn't get caught up in the melee.
You said something I hadn't considered; "the remastering / re-editing bug will get you" "listen to yesterdays tracks with todays ears"
I am going to be spending this holiday weekend trying to restore my VST arsenal. Most of my old and new projects are saying "Missing Plug-in" in my DAW...Ugh.
As always I appreciate you stopping by and giving my track a re-listen and the "WordzfromtheWize".

I appreciate you stopping by and giving this track a listen. Your comments have always given me encouragement to continue doing what I do, your fave is icing on the cake.
Thank you for the compliment but, There is no Guitar on this track. I meant to say something when F2F commented on the Guitar on this track. I was using the "Zenology" VST synth. During the time when I made this track I couldn't seem to find a Guitar VST that had a realistic sound/feel. I wish I could play the Guitar and Bass, I just imitate their phrasings and style on my controller. I'm always on the hunt for a good guitar and Bass VST. Currently I use Trillion for Bass and Guitar Rig7 chained with a few 3rd party effects for the Guitar. This track was from 5 years ago, I mostly only had stock Ableton stuff then. If you have any Bass or Guitar VST favorites I'm all ears lol.

Incredible fusion of styles here! The drum groove has so much human pocket and warmth, and the way those guitars, synths and vocal textures layer together creates a really rich, analog atmosphere. Supreme musicianship and composition, bro!

No Guitars were harmed when I made this track lol.
When I made this track, I was trying to make a Synth preset that would be
my go-to preset for Synth. Back then I liked to use "Blue Cat"( I used it on everthing lol) in my Guitar and Synth chain but, I hadn't quite figured out a Guitar sound/feel that that worked for me back then.

J-Dubman! too many people drone on about compression, but i must say this compresses so many jams in 3 mins you’ve set a new record in and of that itself. but that it hangs as a masterful composition is the real delight — and i’ll add my own zappa reference here — the backing is that tight and the solo so free but centered, few can really play like that. plus that outro is just supreme, and it calls me back to like ‘welcome’-period santana. awesome!

I usually post my tracks as Weird when I can't decisively put my finger on the Genre. I wouldn't want to anger anyone who might be having a love affair with a specific genre.
So far no one who identifies as Weird has said anything yet so I guess my Weird choice is safe(for now);-)...

Absolutely kosher! such an amazing! sound/work here. I'm fast becoming a huge fan of your music because it's always super duper FRESH!!! & really unique, love the vocals they are sitting pretty perfectly on the track. I must say you have such awesome! musical expression it comes through in your work.
