Oh shit :O this instantly let me think it was a very old song from the 80s 90s erea,
Very good man xD sounds like sting a bit if I may say,

    Stang! I hear it a lot :D
I just hope they mean old Sting, before he was dressing renaissance and talking tantra with his cello. :D...
Thanks for the listen and feedback!

Driven To Tears by the Police comes to mind. Vox sound like Sting, bass has that same feeling. When did you kidnap him? lol. Sounds great!

    Reply by VirginiaSlimm

I didn't kidnap Sting. I did a spell and trapped his soul instead. Less cleaning to do in the celebrity gimp room in the basement. I had Tom Sizemore in there for over a year. You can imagine how it was... I left the doors open and pressure hosed him every morning but he refused to leave, anyway, I guess I learned my lesson.

    It's a $120 Cort G Series 4 string with customized B-E-A-D tuning and a roller bridge.
Those Mighty Mite pickups really give it a music man style punch.

Nice mixing on the vocals. Reminds me of the chorus of, 96 Degrees In The Shade, by, Third World, which is an amazing song. Great job on this.

Much appreciated. My studio is basically a 3rd world facility, so it makes sense. :D
I'll go listen to the track you mentioned.

Awesome, One benefit of this quarantine is that people have the time and focus to work on their music. And some of us work well under anxiety and pressure and it allows us to make great music. This is minimalist, but freaking awesome mate.

Thank you for thinking about it that way. That is a good sentiment. Another benefit is that I can shower and vacuum less often. My dish washing muscles are a little atrophied, but my netflix watching skills are off the charts and my beer arm is fast like a whip. ;)

Description : Here is my most recent song, and one which I considered keeping under wraps until my album was released. With the Halloween thread, I thought this may be a chance to raise up the "funny ha ha" or "funny strange" vibe, and tuck under the nervous laughter. It was not made for this holiday or the related thread, but simply to express something which I think about regularly. I'm sure you'll get the impression!

Any masking, distortion or cross modulation is entirely intentional. This is, after all, intentional electronic brain manipulation.

Description : Here is my initial contribution to the Loop Challenge started by FreeRadical. Here's the thread; Thanks to him and all that are getting involved! The full quality wave version is available here

I used all three loops given to me by M8TN -

All three were made by the excellent MrRobot! I ended up using this track as an opportunity to try out the Parallel Killer Guitar that I finished putting together not long ago. These are amongst the first recordings of the guitar. So I guess this turned out like what I would call "hard dub" or maybe it's just dub-glitch... totally not dubstep...heh. I was going for a tape recorded feel on this one for the most part. Hope you enjoy it!

Description : Here is the long overdue "culmination" of a collaboration between Promenade2239 and myself. Not too long ago he uploaded an inspiring finished version based on this song idea, and it is located here...

Included here is Promenade on synthesizers and samples, as well as quite a bit of rhythmic, vocal and arrangement manipulation. The vocals and guitars (classical and electric) were recorded by me, and I did some synthesis and the initial drum loops.

We spent a lot of time and effort developing the idea together. This became especially apparent when I gathered all of the stems I wished to incorporate into this version, and they totalled 85! All in all, it was an extremely valuable experience for me, and I learned so many things (even about myself).

Please leave your comments if you have any, and I will try to reply as I get caught up! Thank you for listening!
