Description : Here is my most recent song, and one which I considered keeping under wraps until my album was released. With the Halloween thread, I thought this may be a chance to raise up the "funny ha ha" or "funny strange" vibe, and tuck under the nervous laughter. It was not made for this holiday or the related thread, but simply to express something which I think about regularly. I'm sure you'll get the impression!
Any masking, distortion or cross modulation is entirely intentional. This is, after all, intentional electronic brain manipulation.

Description : Here is my initial contribution to the Loop Challenge started by FreeRadical. Here's the thread; https://www.looperman.com/forum/thread/182711/loop-challenge Thanks to him and all that are getting involved! The full quality wave version is available here https://soundcloud.com/spivkurl/breaking-blue-16-master-c
I used all three loops given to me by M8TN -

All three were made by the excellent MrRobot! I ended up using this track as an opportunity to try out the Parallel Killer Guitar that I finished putting together not long ago. These are amongst the first recordings of the guitar. So I guess this turned out like what I would call "hard dub" or maybe it's just dub-glitch... totally not dubstep...heh. I was going for a tape recorded feel on this one for the most part. Hope you enjoy it!
Description : Shout out to ClickBaitCabaret for helping me out with the Genre. DubJazz...
Description : Dub with a punk sensiblity? A descent into chaos. Mostly guitars. Too long? Yep. Self indulgent? Yep.
Description : Here is the long overdue "culmination" of a collaboration between Promenade2239 and myself. Not too long ago he uploaded an inspiring finished version based on this song idea, and it is located here... https://www.looperman.com/tracks/detail/171320
Included here is Promenade on synthesizers and samples, as well as quite a bit of rhythmic, vocal and arrangement manipulation. The vocals and guitars (classical and electric) were recorded by me, and I did some synthesis and the initial drum loops.
We spent a lot of time and effort developing the idea together. This became especially apparent when I gathered all of the stems I wished to incorporate into this version, and they totalled 85! All in all, it was an extremely valuable experience for me, and I learned so many things (even about myself).
Please leave your comments if you have any, and I will try to reply as I get caught up! Thank you for listening!
Description : updated a loop from refl3x called skrillex-summit-lead

Description : A terrible song back from when I relied too heavily on loops.

Awesome!
Nice tune. The whole thing feels well defined and executed, although I would have liked to have heard the vocals coming through a bit more, but that's it. Enjoyed it very much.
Thanks for sharing.
Nice... :))
Thank you.
New to looperman & this is the very first track I heard. This is dope. Thanks for making awesome music. - K
wow>nice man)
I am putting together a radio stream in memory of my late son who died from cystic fibrosis and would very much like to use this track. He was into dub, house, reggae and many things electronic. The stream, sonnypieradio.com will be ad free, and will not pay royalties, however I am happy to give you a credit and links. Hoping for your permission. Thank you. Chris
are you sure it's a dub track? however, it's a good song with nice vocals :)
awesome
Super cool bro
This sound good bud!! maybe the intro a liltle to long but overall very nice!!
Cool track.. It is a flawless production for what it is.. but to be hyper-critical.. I would say that the vocalist is singing it with a lack of emotion & passion.. like reading off a script or something
The overall theme of the track could be either sad, happy, or dreamy.. but it feels like a little bit of everything mixed into one, know what I'm saying?
Having said that.. it is an interesting track because it makes you think to yourself 'what is this guy even feeling'. or it could just leave you frustrated -_-
A nice track. It contains all the elements of a solid track and cant be faulted really. Well done.
Interesting... I looked at the genre before beginning to type, and I my instant reaction was to wonder what made you choose "dub" as a genre. This reminds me more of modern electronic styles, rather than a reggae and dancehall influenced style. I am not much of a genre nazi though, so I can forgive that. This song does have a pop sensibility which I can appreciate. It is not something I would usually listen too, but I do listen to and create a good amount of dub, which led me to the confusion. I like that the final product has a good dynamic range, and the frequencies are well represented. Possibly the vocal parts, when the music gets more sonically dense, could be more present, however this is pretty minor. It is especially minor when considered with other prominent songs in the style. I like what you've done here!
love it
