I'm feeling a strong love song vibe here. Very good mix and use of synths and keys. Melody lines melted right in. Solid production. PEACE. T576 OUT.

HeathAlexander replied 10th Dec 2021 - 4 years ago

Thank you. By "love song" do you mean The Cure, or that it's a romantic song? Either way you're right. Disintegration is one of my favorite albums and all my songs are love songs.

Danke 4th Dec 2021 21:58 - 4 years ago

GOD KNOWS, HOW I MISSED THIS GREAT TRIPY JOURNEY ... typical Heath moments everywhere in the song ... you really feel this style which is quite individual ... QUALITY AS ALWAYS ...
fistbump, Danke

HeathAlexander replied 5th Dec 2021 - 4 years ago

Thank you. I always appreciate your comments. Recently I've been making songs slower, but I hope it's because the quality is higher.

BONEZONMARZ 3rd Dec 2021 18:38 - 4 years ago

This is great man, that bass line is so good. Liking the pad sounds as well. Nice to hear from you again. Keep it up!

HeathAlexander replied 5th Dec 2021 - 4 years ago

Thank you. I always enjoy a good bass.

theHumps 26th Nov 2021 14:07 - 4 years ago

Sure, this works for a decent earful! Creative piece of spacey, electronic mind tripping music. Good music for a documentary on space or the universe or a music and picture collage. Well done !

bringerofDOOM 24th Nov 2021 18:41 - 4 years ago

Nice mid-range on the synths. Didn't expect that piano to come in at about 3 min, nice touch. I like the "breathing" of the beat, nice and complex in the 16th/32nd note aspects of the beat (depending on your perspective).

Nice thick, dense work.

Faved.

HeathAlexander replied 25th Nov 2021 - 4 years ago

Thank you. When I was making this track I centered it on the use of syncopation. I'm glad you noticed.

RuslanG 24th Nov 2021 15:59 - 4 years ago

Well done! Intro very good

pseudoble 21st Nov 2021 20:37 - 4 years ago

Nice work Heath - the melody lingers well after the track ends which is (if it's not just annoying) a sign that that you've tapped into something universal (umm ... bad pun on your profile pic ... which is also amazing btw) : )

AtticElla 20th Nov 2021 00:16 - 4 years ago

Well I don't know how I missed this before but it's brilliant. So beautiful, relaxing and nostalgic. I am really into this sort of sound lately. Been trying to learn to produce mellow relaxing lofi tunes. This captures that feeling exactly!

HeathAlexander replied 24th Nov 2021 - 4 years ago

Thank you. You might like some of my other tracks like Starfighter and Where Is She. I tend to incorporate a little bit of LoFi into my songs.

kingmt77 19th Nov 2021 17:55 - 4 years ago

Nice arrangement and choice of synth’s. I especially like 1:05 and 1:39.

Really great track Heath, the production scores top marks too the bouncy wavey synth, sets you out on a journey, the accompanying instrument and impact are just right, i like the keys through it too

Pretty good stuff! I'm getting some mad flying lotus energy from this. I always get jealous of people that make stuff like this. Big creativity!

HeathAlexander replied 11th Jun 2021 - 5 years ago

Thank you. No need to be jealous though. If you have the drive, you can easily make something better. Then, post it here so I can be jealous instead.
