Daylight - Nuclearzombies
22nd Jan 2009 13:41 - 17 years ago
Description : One of my earliest projects, I was aiming for something spartan, minimal but with a good kick to it. I take much inspiration from 80's pop too, and I think it shows here. This was made using only samples I've dl'd from various sites so if you see something that you made and you want to be credited by all means let me know.

thanks bro! I never expected that a "simpler" track would get this much positive feedback. I must admit it's got the vibe....

Description : I'm gonna file this under Drum and Bass due to the beats I used. Though it's probably not DnB in the strictest sense of the word, as it starts off with a Cinematic vibe till the beats kick in (apologies for that, as I don't have a vast knowledge of DnB!). Apart from the beats and a couple of other loops, all synth/bass parts are played by me using ThornCM, Poly Max and Z3ta+ vst's. Let me know what you think? All feedback is always appreciated. Thanks.

Description : Technology is a great thing. But I'm glad to know that if it ever fails ... or simply isn't there ... I can always play my guitar or drums, or just sing. In any case, the power didn't go out during this production ... so it's electric. And eclectic.

Description : Atmospheric, late-night UK garage and liquid drum & bass blending deep rolling basslines, shuffled breakbeats, intimate breathy female vocals and rhythmic DJ turntablism. Chopped vocal samples and hypnotic hooks.
