If I had to give one pointer, the beginning is nice, but the piano lacks substance. Your main melody shouldn't be a weak conversion. Lets say that the first half of a bar is a question and the second half is an answer. Its like giving the wrong answer to the question and that makes the conversation weak.
In simpler words, it sounds like it is supposed to be a counter melody. Very few low notes and no chords in sight.
I apoligize for giving such a weird description, but thats how the piano melody made me feel IMO. Great work though, you blew this out of the water.
