Description : This is the first song I've ever made (took a few hours), so don't expect greatness. It's made mostly from samples I've found on this site, mostly a lot of ethnic drums, sitar, and bass. I used the trial version of Sony ACID because I've yet to actually purchase it. It's rather cluttered and random, I know, I haven't really cleaned it up much. I suppose you could call this the first version, because there will probably be more edits in the future. This sounds best when listened with headphones.

OMG this is totally awesome for a first track. Hell, I wish my first track sounded half as good as this. You have an ear for putting loops and sounds together. Excellent stereo balance and wow, this track never falls into a rut. You keep things mixed up and changing. A+ for the Theme and variation work. This one is going on my Favs and I'm going to keep on the look out for more of your work. Great track. :-)

First track? Props. My first track sounded like...well, nothing like this. If Timabaland was a member of the Beatles, he probably would've made music like this after meeting the Maharishi. This is ethnic booty funk. Straight up.

I'm with E, the sounds blend in nicely. If anything, you may just wanna listen to see what sounds you personally would prefer to be in the forefront and which ones are supporting, but that's nothing more really than a panning adjustment. As far as levels go, it's great.

Looking forward to more music. Cheers.

Description : Oli carries a family thread that reaches back to Africa and has always been drawn to the bright, kinetic pulse of Sungura. Out of that love grew the song Sankofa. The title comes from a Twi word from Ghana that calls us to retrieve wisdom from the past and use it to shape a wiser, kinder future. The track celebrates that spirit, weaving together the camaraderie and cultural richness shared across the African continent. O&K had lot's of fun producing that song :-)

Description : This track is an experimental version of the popular Hindu mantra Om Namah Shivaye, wonderfully sung by Ankit Sharda. The female background vocalist doesn't want her name mentioned in the credits.

The song was created on Caustic Beta Version 3.8, and mastered on Mastering Beta Version 5; both Android apps from Single Cell Software. The new Sawsynth synthesizer in Caustic was used in the background & synth bass (paired with another bass).

Description : This is a Latin -Spanish flavored tune. In fact, I don't see a catagory for it so I put it under 'Ethnic'.

I eat now and then at a 'Mighty Taco' resturant near me and decided to call this one "El Nino". :-)

This tune is kinda off beat for me, but I am sure someone on here will like it. Made from loop a CD I have full of Nylon guitar loops only, I purchased early last year, and put together with other loops and synth for weird effects.
Ha.....maybe I am getting weird since my last tune was heavy metal!
Hope you like it.
