Hello,

I don't know how I missed this gem. Great job on the instrumentation and mix.
Loved the vocal snippet "Don't wanna hurt."

I can hear this on a music streaming service, so your time was well spent.
Marking this as a fave. Wonderful tune.

The Nexus is real, but it works for sure. I agree with the kick thing, maybe also try what Illenium does and make the kick reverse into its self here and there, we feel that would add a lot more spice! We disagree on changing the snap though, add more reverb and compress it so it becomes more forward in the mix. Maybe also try to EQ the bass out of the mids and highs a little more, because it is causing digital distortion. Also, bring the high end down by JUST a little, the mix is a little too bright. Otherwise, great work!

Ludwigbroo replied 8th Dec 2017 - 8 years ago

Good with that feedback, thank you so much appreciate it. Mastering / mixing is something I get better after each track. But it takes time. I usually have difficulty with the kick because I dont like the sound of sidechaining with a limiter etc.

Perko93 28th Nov 2017 16:41 - 8 years ago

This song has that commercial value, clean pristine mixing and with good marketing this could blow up! Best of luck!

Ludwigbroo replied 8th Dec 2017 - 8 years ago

Well i am very glad you think so, thanks! :)

This is pretty cool! I was intrigued from the very beginning, I like the eq automation with the vocal chops. The drop is pretty cool, but could use some work. Most importantly, the snare isn't present enough. I would change samples, or just add a nice big future bass/trap type snare. The kick also could be improved, but it's not terrible. I would say that it is a little too low (both in frequency and in the mix).
Very cool song though, and I'll be looking for more songs from you! Also, feel free to listen to my new remix. It should be on the featured page :)

Thanks man! Nice with som feedback. Yes I can agree with you with the kick. The thing is when i made the snare louder the track immediately changed and almost make it feel faster. And i didnt like how it sounded.

Zivonmusic 20th Nov 2017 15:42 - 8 years ago

This is amazing man! The vibe to me feels so emotional haha!

Thanks man and i am very glad i could make you feel like that. Isn't that the point of music? ;)

Really, really nice work, Ludwigbroo! You clearly know how to make good dance music. Percussion parts were great. I think it might help to reduce the amount of side chain compression on the chorus part (also suggested by others), but I was impressed by how you handled that. It worked well in the arrangement.
