Description : This song is for my daughters. I wrote it about 10 years ago when I was living in Florida and they in LA. Now I'm living in LA near those two daughters but my youngest is teaching in South Korea. No matter where I am, or where they are, I think about them every day, throughout the day, imagine what they're doing, having conversations with them, cracking a few jokes, and that's really what this song is about. Finally after 10 years, I got an opportunity to record it right, with the great Sunny War. It's part of our album called RISING. (In one app I play it on there's a glitch at the start, but only in that app. I haven't been able to find what's causing it. I hope you don't hear it.)

very very cool production...what I very much like in your works that those are very simple songs with huge work on the producing side...this is a good example too...one themed song but never gets boring...and don't talk about that voice...
Thank you, Danke. That comment warms my heart. I used to write complex, wordy songs that were hard to follow. Over time I simplified things to their basics. It's all about structure for me now, and feeling, and mood. And of course Sunny is the perfect collaborator because she too is about clear lyrics and simple melodies. Well, we have finally finished the Sunny Sessions and I've posted all 55 songs at thesunnysessions.com. Please check them out sometime. Thank you!
Hi silverman. Thanks for the listen and comment. You must have read my profile, which is quite old. I still work in Audacity to write the songs and orchestrate the loops in a full composition. But then with Sunny we've recorded in a studio - I save all the tracks as separate wavs, we load them up in ProTools and off we go. I couldn't produce this level of quality at home with Audacity. So I got back to spending $ on production because I had to. Thank god we finished the Sunny Sessions a couple weeks ago because I just got laid off, so no more $ on music. But we're done and you can check out all 55 tracks at thesunnysessions.com if you like. Thanks!
Nice little number.
Reminds me of someone and I can't think who.
It'll come to me and I'll let you know.
Using audacity must be a bind.
It's an editing suite more than a song compilation set up.
Ever tried acid?
Acid 7 markets at around a hundred and fifty hundred and seventy five dollars.
Go on Amazon .... quickly because when people see this there'll be a mad rush ... acid 8 is round fifteen dollars and does more or less the same thing.
It won't recognise USB midi only the old fashioned MIDI in out sound card thing.
But loops and line in are all there.
I'm amazed you could produce this well on Audacity alone.
Another one is Magix who have actually bought out Sony Acid. They do a free one no time limits but I think it's only eight tracks.
Powerful software though.
If you can be this good on such meagre resources I look forward to you getting better gear.

Description : A track I did with a friend ages ago. I play the guitar and he sang and wrote the lyrics. The lyrics came mostly from headlines in the newspaper that sunday. Recorded using a crappy old microphone direct into cubase with a few overdubs

This is a surprise, for those was young in 1999, for the beloved Patricia (and the gift of her voice) and my brothers Nous2 and Jamid, kind people i met here. Let's go crying guys, hope you enjoy.
Description : There were two separate tracks in work, but who knows why I got tired with them and then decided to merge them (or at least what left from them) into one piece hence they originate out of same musical purpose. No worries...no world war was ment here, except my recent personal one...haha...and you don't want to know about it.:) It's not real etude by any means, yet it's quite alot about practicing...practicing...

Description : Remastered March 2023. Recorded live on two mics. For my wee daughter Tui; I wrote it sitting on the bathroom floor, keeping her company while she was in the bath....
Description : Again, another early production from like two years ago. I had a cheap little Yamaha acoustic guitar that I borrowed and mic'd and some congas that were given to me as a birthday present. I used my iPad GarageBand app to record the strings and the big bass drum thingy at the interlude and little electric guitar parts in there too haha. All the vocals were done by myself and my brother throws in some little things here and there with his voice :P Enjoy!
Description : A rhythm guitar track I made and sent to my cousin on the East Coast. Made with Tape-A-Talk app. from the Google Play Store. Download and collaborate with it.
Description : My very first acoustic piece in quite a while..
I hope someone grabs this and puts some vocals to it.
The software I used is Reaper, Addictive Drums and Gearbox.
Hardware is a Jackson RR3 plugged into a Line 6 Pod X3..
Description : Thats my newest Track all made out of free vst of the dsk series. Its a kind of chill out acoustic string thing that makes me thinking. Its very calm, inspirational and gives me power...
